What Do the Gay People in Your Church Look Like?

By Thom Hunter, published on Mar 17, 2012

What do the gay people in your church look like? Do you spot them by their flamboyant clothing . . . their mannerisms . . . their declarations?

When a brother or sister in your church came to you to ask you for your help and support in their personal struggle against homosexuality . . . what did you do to walk with them? How did you respond the last time this happened to you?

“Oh . . . we don’t have that problem in our church,” you say?

If you are a typical church, you do.

Statistics show that one out of every five church members has a family member or close friend... (more)

Gay, Straight - Worry About Crooked!

By Notumbus Bumbus, published on May 10, 2012

Well, here we are, and much earlier in the election season than one usually expects it. I am talking about the pointless distractions, of course. Everyone is getting their pantaloons in a snit over whether The Prez does or does not back gay marriage (and all this time, I'd been going on the assumption marriage was supposed to be a gay affair for all concerned. My bad!) But whether one believes that marriage is a right or a mere tradition is really of little concern. Whether we keep adding new jobs? Big concern. Whether we manage to get through the next year without new hostilities breaking... (more)

GAY SEX & MARRIAGE – A SOCIALLY AND MENTALLY RETARDED ISSUE

By dchaitanya, published on May 12, 2012

The idea and thought of Gay Marriage is not only unnatural, abnormal but anti-divine. The divine nature created two genders among all living beings that are among humans, animals, birds, flora and fauna. If Adam and Eve were not there in the beginning, we are not there. Had divine nature created either only two Adams or only two Eves, we would not have been here existing. If two quite opposite genders were not created i.e. female and male this many animals, birds ocean beings and human population would not have existied, similarly this much of flora and fauna would not have been spread and... (more)

Be Afraid Of Gay People - Be Very Afraid!

By Notumbus Bumbus, published on May 12, 2012

So, traditional marriage is now dead. Because the President said he is personally in support of the rights of gay people to get married. So, I wonder who he will be forced into a gay marriage with? And what about poor Michelle? Who will she be forced to marry, do you think? The real shocker will be what will Billy Graham, and Mitt Romney, and Rick Santorum, and Chet Ubetcha be forced to do on their Gay Wedding Nights? Now that traditional marriage has been blown assunder, all those bridal shops are going to have to start supersizing their gown collections, that's for sure! I shudder to think... (more)

It's June and it's Gay Pride Month

By Jennifer Anderson, published on Jun 5, 2011

...come. That's why June is National GLBT Pride Month. A time for everyone to come out and support the people in their neighborhoods who have to deal with sexism on a regular basis.

All month, throughout the country, there will be numerous parades, events, and rallies to show the world what gay pride is really all about. There will be many speakers from unknown people to famous celeberties talking about bullying, acceptence, and Government. But there will also be lots of fun.

President Obama even signed a proclamation talking about the progress we've made and how far we have to... (more)

The Lengthening Shadow of Pro-Gay Theology

By Thom Hunter, published on Oct 24, 2011

...will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. -- I Timothy 4:3-4

SPOILER ALERT:

Pro-gay theology is untrue.

I remember a time, way back in the '70s, when I had an ah-hah moment and it seemed obvious to me that the people around me -- especially my fellow Christians -- had somehow avoided the truth about homosexuality. Out of their in-bred squeamishness and hammered-in desire ... (more)

Gay Culture: The Mouse that Keeps on Roaring

By Thom Hunter, published on Nov 5, 2011

...to share with friends who would never ask where it came from. I saw a temptation that could be fulfilled easily and with little chance of discovery due to the ignorance of the one being perpetrated, one who was fast asleep while the world moved on around him. Here's the big leap of the week: gay culture is like the 10-year-old who perceives he has not much, but has easy access to a whole lot and will take full advantage of the ignorance of those who sleep, robbing them blind as they drop their ashes on the floor in silent slumber. Gay culture glides into the room, leaves the wallet of... (more)

Gay penguins to be separated and forced to breed

By edtusox, published on Nov 9, 2011

... a “braying’’ sound as a mating call. They defend their territory, preen each other, and are constantly standing alone together.

“It’s a complicated issue, but they seem to be in a loving relationship of some sort,’’ says Joe Torzsok, chair of the Toronto zoo board.

The gay partnership has caused talk. “This is all new for us,’’ said another keeper, pointing out that the zoo hasn’t had African penguins on display since 1993.

There has been an outcry since it emerged that keepers have decided to step in and separate Pedro and Buddy. The zoo justifies... (more)

California back on the Gay Marriage Ban

By TheTAZZone, published on Aug 17, 2010

" A federal appeals court put same-sex weddings in California on hold indefinitely Monday while it considers the constitutionality of the state's gay marriage ban.

The decision, issued by a three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, trumps a lower court judge's order that would have allowed county clerks to begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples on Wednesday. "

Are You Gay???

By Ellis Jane, published on Apr 3, 2008

...eighty-eight miles per hour with plutonium and 1.21 jigawats of power, and you happened to visit Canada in the 1950's, you had better not have an unusually strong affinity for Judy Garland or the color purple. In 1950, the Canadian Civil Service built a "Fruit Machine" to aid in the detection of gays. Now while this may sound ridiculous to our "modern" society to use a tricorder-like device to diagnose sexual preference, the notion of "gaydar" is something still prevalent in our day to day existence.

Gaydar, to which is alluded or mentioned in shows like Buffy, The Office, or... (more)
