5 Tips to Effectively Work Anywhere
Entrepreneurs have been known to work in crazy places, at crazy hours, in crazy ways. You may see them typing away at a Starbucks, easily downing over 6 cups of black coffee. You may see them crunching numbers at the airport while stuffing their daughter’s souvenir from Disney World into a suitcase. You may see them working in pajamas, on a park bench, in the car, upside-down, on the phone, in the basement. And no matter where these entrepreneurs are; they seem to always be working on something!
The most effective entrepreneurs, however, are the ones that sit down in a spot and focus... (more)

To Submit Meekly, Or To Exercise Your Rights
...Tea baggers, who are the modern version of the Brownshirts, will do and say anything their corporate masters tell them to.
Those who wish to strike and protest against their employers have been arrested in recent years. One case that made the news recently were the 39 employees of Disneyland that were protesting the low wages and lack of medical insurance that Disney provided. Dressed as Disney characters, the police swooped in with batons swinging. You do not protest against corporations in this new America. And you DO NOT ask for medical benefits in the new age of insurance... (more)

Heaven Is Going To Love Steve Jobs
...about where he’s going from here, at least, in my viewpoint.
When you think of the truly great inventors, geniuses, and business pioneers of the worlds history very few names stand out. I’m talking about the ones who REALLY changed the way we live our lives (i.e. Henry Ford, Walt Disney, Edison, The Wright Brothers, Einstein, and now Steve Jobs). They literally altered the course of our history and made things that drastically improved our very existence. Now that one of the greatest is gone, I sit here and wonder what God will do with such a man like Jobs--one of those rare... (more)

Remembering Freedomland USA
...as a miniature replica of the United States. Its designer, CV Wood, declared it “as a way to dramatize American heritage through an imaginative combination of big business, show-business, design creativity and mass education through entertainment.”
Wood had been associated with Disney, impacting on the development of Disneyland, a mere 85 acres in comparison. Freedomland was his concept and dream. Joined by Randall Duell, a renowned theme park designer and financed by real estate tycoon William Zeckendorf at an estimated 65 million dollars. Its catchy jingle was known by... (more)

Seeking Soul Mate
...
A group of girlfriends and I were chatting rather informally over dinner, quite happy over our martinis when someone at the table brought up the subject of Soul mates. Damn! My buzz just succumbed to sudden death. When people mention the word Soulmates my first thought is, "way too Disney fairy tale for me." The thought of having someone else "complete me" is a mentally warped bi-product of the 'Princess Illness' created by innocent children being forced to watch one too many re-runs of Snow White and Cinderella, inevitably being saved by meeting their "handsome heterosexual...
