Make My Dreams come True

By Uttam Gill, published on Dec 6, 2012

Take me in your arms

The story of wait to be concluded

Unwritten notes of my thoughts, can you read

Who knows my longing better then you?

Onto the pages of story, words rejoicing with your thoughts

I am living in the corridors of our comforting dreams

Come now and fetch me the glittering happiness

Come and hold me to create our world

In the breathing space of my dreams, I live

I wonder if there is a dream without you

The dreams communicate and I pray they do

Come, take me in your arms and make my dreams come true.

Unwind The Child In You

By Uttam Gill, published on Dec 5, 2012

That little boy had no clue about life and he was dissected many a times with ceremonious joy and wailing moments of losses. In an acrimonious debate, he was coaxed to believe that life is a complexity of happenings, which cannot be comprehended in even terms. He thus could never establish a convenient relation with lifes' complex oddities.

He resisted the invasive doctrines, those that had had been conveniently floated to disprove an alternative recourse to happiness and peace. He however questioned the validity of mournful existence of thoughts and therefore never grew into an... (more)

The Empire of King and Queen

By Uttam Gill, published on Nov 10, 2012

In the emptiness, knocks are measured with suspicion but as an unknown, he was embraced with love and affection. She, coroneted him as her own king and in the parades of sparkling dreams, they received the salutation of honor. In the corridors of their world, amazingly they returned the blessings of love, with equal intensity. Their Reincarnation

By Uttam Gill, published on Nov 5, 2012

Why is that, we consent with the dimensions, by which, we wish to understand the things and refuse to see beyond. As a matter of fact, we tend to borrow reasons in a constrained manner. Is that all, we need to understand, about ourselves and our lives. We only see life, with birth and death, as an eternal truth. With accepted mode of dimensions, we refuse to explore beyond. Surprisingly, if you note that, we all have a unique sense of acceptance, that given dimensions are not enough; there is something more and we subconsciously acknowledges that.

Any conceivable thought in our mind... (more)

You Cannot Lie To Yourself

By Uttam Gill, published on Oct 21, 2012

At times you wished to yell and begged for your innocence but strangely conditions ceased stopped you. Why could you not speak your mind? The answer is simple. You cultivated the silence in your own thoughts. The result was excruciating pain as when you tried to speak, you were unable to share your voice. The result was guilt. You were declared offender. To be prosecuted for the cognizable offence you were questioned incessantly and people formed positions to draw inference of your mindedness.

Your display of anxiety, conveniently invited insinuation from the people around... (more)

Oh! My God

By Uttam Gill, published on Oct 16, 2012

Today I saw a movie by name OH MY GOD and certainly, that moved me a lot. We all, so casually sign contracts to agree upon the contractual obligations, that on account of losses due to Act of God, the insurance cover is not available. Conveniently the God is inserted in the legal documents and THE GODS ACT CANNOT BE CHALLENGED IN ANY COURT OF LAW…However, in this movie a petitioner who incurs huge losses on account of, request court to summon messengers/custodians of God into the court for compensation. He pleads that since it is an ACT OF GOD, the God must compensate him and that’s how he... (more)

Your Place

By Uttam Gill, published on Sep 16, 2012

You are not an animated version…you are real flesh and blood. Tinker over this thought and take a bonanza of reasons for you to celebrate. Every reason of your existence is so valid that you can build your life with lots of happiness. As long as you understand this and act upon it humanly, you create an environment for yourself and others to relish life. No given scenario can take away the best in you, unless one tamely surrenders. Hold yourself and out rightly reject the cantankerous thoughts. Your constructive line of thoughts will axiomatically keep you glued to sanity. Come what may, never... (more)

Bridges of words

By Uttam Gill, published on Sep 12, 2012

From the ruins, I picked up broken times The shrapnel of hurt made words to bleed Truth in its trajectory took a course to reach Somewhere someone scanned the bleeding words Oblivious of this fact and I kept scripting my woes From my scriptures the parallels were drawn In my retributive mode I begged for attention I yelled in my passages and got drowned in applauses

Over the rejected oaths and broken pledges, I built bridges I was too busy to note that someone crossed the bridge I felt someone shuffled besides me someone unknown yet so familiar walked in The divine light seeped in... (more)

Dream and Live

By Uttam Gill, published on Aug 24, 2012

Let this be understood in correct perspective, that no matter what you do, you won’t get desired satisfaction, unless you do it with great passion and firm convictions. The consistent denials of truth in your actions result into sequence of events, which unknowingly sucks you into a situation of immense disillusionment. You jitter and that’s how thereafter the semantics takes over and you never knew that when alienated thoughts robbed you....robbed you of the best in you... Your best was stolen and the irony is, you hardly knew about this. With fake smiles you pretend that you are living. You... (more)
