The United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), in Monday’s publication of its 276 page 2016 annual report says it shows ‘a road map of deterioration.’

Pages 45-49 of the USCIRF report focus on the Iranian clerical regime saying of their judicial system that it ‘continues to use its religious laws to silence reformers.’ And comments on violations of the Iranian people’s internationally-protected inalienable right to exercise Freedom of Expression and Religion or Belief; saying the values are ‘under assault.’

Labor activists imprisoned by Iran regime must be released.

On Saturday the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) reported on the Iranian regime’s ‘state security forces [who] attacked [a gathering of the Bus Worker’s Union] and confiscated banners.’

The event happened on the eve of Sunday May 1, International Workers’ Day, further illustrating that ‘the mullahs’ regime is taking draconian measures to prevent workers in Iran from holding protests.’

The Iranian regime uses public TV to spread fear

On Tuesday the National Council of the Resistance of Iran (NCRI) reported about the Iranian regime’s ‘systematic marginalization of ethnic minorities’ and also are concerned for ‘the fate of those arrested for being active on social networks such as Facebook and WhatsApp.

Ethnic Iranian Kurds, of which the population makes up ten percent of the Iranian ethnicity, are being particularly targeted. Fearing national protests ‘the clerical regime has resorted to widespread arrests in Ahwaz and Shush in south-west Iran. But also in Bukan in north-west Iran.

Rajavi at the ceremonial address to the N Assembly of France

This week at the National Assembly of France, the exiled Iranian Resistance President-elect Mrs. Rajavi had the ears of French legislators, reinforcing points of the her 10 point plan including resistance, steadfastness and fortitude. Themes which had already underpinned her new year speech given just two weeks ago hailing in the Iranian New Year 1395 (2016 in the Gregorian calendar). The Flower Festival is celebrated every year from June 5 through 17. The festival encourages families to craft their best flower displays and open their gardens to their neighbors, thus building friendships and drawing neighborhoods together.

Senior Quds Force commanders train Houthis in Yemen

A spokesman for the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) said on Saturday evening that commanders from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force have been training members of the Houthi rebel group in Yemen.
