Garima P, a software engineer from Pune won Rs.10313291/- jackpot of Smart Lott lotteries, marketed by Scope Marketing (main distributor of Sugal & Damani Group) in Maharashtra. Nisha, a young 37 years old lawyer by profession and mother of a 6 years old son was left penniless few months back; when she separated from her husband. Terrorists Killed And Hostages Rescued In Mumbai.

The Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh pinned blame on militant groups based in India's neighbours, usually an allusion to old rival Pakistan.

Indian Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee was more explicit and said that "Preliminary evidence, prima facie evidence, indicates elements with links to Pakistan are involved,"

He urged Pakistan to dismantle the infrastructure that supports militants.

Pakistan has denied involvement and condemned the attacks. It has also offered full cooperation in fighting terrorism.

125 killed and more than 327 injured in the bomb blast and firing by the terrorist which still contines in Mumbai. So far there have been 27 bomb blasts in Taj and 20 blasts in Oberoi hotel.People are still inside Oberoi. The bomb blasts and the cross firing has been continous since past 25 hours.

A commercial building, Nariman Bhuvan in Nariman Point has terrorists holding two Israeli families as hostages since yesterday.

14 officers from Police department, Anti Terrorist Squad were killed since yesterday, while 9 terrorists were shot by the various law enforcement agencies.... (more)

Bomb Blast And Terrorist Firing In Mumbai

Mumbai city is under terrorist attack, yes once more, there were total 12 blasts in different areas in South Mumbai and firing at 5 places. Two five star hotels, Taj and Oberoi have been attacked.

5 terrorists are still inside Taj Hotel room no.631, there were total 4 blasts in Taj hotel and 2 in Oberoi. The police and the commandoshave surrounded both the hotels and around 200 more NSG commandos are immediately called.

2 blasts happened inside a cab in 2 different areas. One below the flyover in Vile Parle near the domestic airport and another in Mazgaon area. One blast happened... (more)

What’s common between Israel, Manhattan, New York and amchi Mumbai? Well it’s the Piping hot Pita bread with falafel and hummus. One fine afternoon when I was taking a stroll with my eight year old to have our fix of Gelato dessert, mind you I have only Gelatos (it’s 99% fat free) because I feel less guilty for having those dollops of extra calories if I eat Baskin Robbins or other frozen desserts and ice cream. We didn’t get our Gelatos and were taken by a pleasant surprise as instead of Gelatos we walked in at Falafel’s Veg Hummus House in Lokhandwala (gelatos has shifted, don’t know where)

I still remember my childhood when we would go shopping to buyclothes, shoes and accessories from different shops.Our shopping would always end either with pani puri, chaat ora sandwich.Now the times have changed; we no longer go to the market but head where our children want to shop; that isto the nearest mall.
