An Interview With Nik Frost

By RLSegarra, published on Nov 18, 2007

They are rock and roll bad boys, they make great music, do great live shows, say what they want and do what they will. They are serious about their music and hilariously funny and irrelevant about everything else. They gave up everything for this dream they are pursuing and they live by their motto, "Death or glory" They are Frost vocals, Holocolm ks.,guitar, Coatez bass, Sweeny guitar and Blanco drums. When I asked for an interview I made the mistake of starting my e-mail with "Hey Bangkok 5" First they set me straight so let me set everyone straight right now. It is "The Bangkok... (more)

Coachella 2007

By RLSegarra, published on May 1, 2007

Friday morning and I am packed and ready to go! I have been waiting since February for this trip, this musical experience. Anyone who knows me can vouch for the fact that I love music and I fully support unknown artist, but I am not a music snob and I have been known to pay outrageous prices for well known bands to see them play in smaller venues. This day, April 27, 2007 I am on my way to the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, three days of a combination of unknown bands and headliners performing on 5 different stages, plus the Dome, starting at 2 p.m. and ending with the last headlining band... (more)

A Gift Tonight From L.A. to San Diego Jay Buchanan

By RLSegarra, published on Feb 4, 2007

Slight and scruffy he took to the stage and blew away the audience with the power that came from his voice, his guitar and his presence on stage. From his first song that had every woman in the palm of his hand to some familiar Buchanan songs, Temptress, True Love, and All hell Breaks Loose to the beautiful and bluesy Need For Sex from his solo cd, the crowd was his. The audience enjoyed his banter which was both sexy and witty. He set the tone and upbeat feeling and energy for the rest of the evening and did what every performer wants to do, he left the audience wanting more.... (more)

The Good, The Bad, Women and Wal-Mart

By RLSegarra, published on Jan 9, 2007

Wal-mart is a corporate bloodsucking giant that pays slave wages, signs their associates up for welfare and food stamps, offers no benefits, goes out of the country to purchase merchandise cheaper leaving more Americans out of jobs and lowers standards everywhere it goes. The I hate Wal-Mart side. Wal- Mart is a family company with family values that cares about its associates, offers great benefits and a warm and welcome work place. It offers career oportunities for anyone regardless of race, sex, or religion. Wal-Mart cares about its associates and customers. The I love Wal-Mart side.... (more)

They Hung Saddam Hussein today.........

By RLSegarra, published on Dec 31, 2006

They hung Saddam Hussein today, the monster is dead, so now the world is a better place. In the craziness and insanity that is the Middle East everything will be right now, the monster is dead...or is it?

In all the third world countries that throw it's starving people away like we throw away our fast food bags, they will starve a little less, they will cry a little less, they will die a little less because the monster is dead...or is it?

In every country that posses "weapons of mass destruction" we will dance around those weapons a little more secure because those weapons... (more)
