By Jennifer Stone, published on May 23, 2012

Inspiration for the last 2.5 hours started by inspiration of my surroundings and by who had influenced me during my childhood.

French Street. North Sydney was where my Private Francis had grown up. Many months of research to find the home, the start of the journey that would be documented in some parts by In The Cross Fire.

As I walked away from French Street, the words from the Banksia Man rang loud and clear. Why?

This was circling in my head, Why had I stopped and listened and nobody else had. It was a Sunny afternoon in January. I arrived at my car, thinking I... (more)

Drugs send people to the streets? TAKe CoNTRoL

By Jennifer Stone, published on May 19, 2012

Who is in Control? The drugs or the police.

For my opinion working and living on the front line of drug worn warzone Kings Cross. The disgusting drug barons that lurch away hiding, with a girlfriend in toe is just a normal night in Kings Cross.

The Master as I put it, yet the drugs that go through his hands feed so many. Who is control? The Police that seem to have no control from the Master. The system, these drug barons have other drug dealers and users hiding them at every point through this drug empire that The Master has created.

The Master had started many years... (more)

Drugs, what are they?

By Jennifer Stone, published on May 18, 2012

It was just after 2am the drug dealer had been around I had no money. Now I had a gig, I was looking for the shot. It wasn't going through my mind about the booze, just to get a shot.

The drug bust had been through, the town was clean people said something that hadn't come in ages. The strip was open for the assault by Police. There were no informants anymore. The nightly visits to the police station to find where or if a drug bust was happening had gone. This was the first time, that the system had failed it was the undoing of the drug trade.

Where is the money?

By Jennifer Stone, published on May 18, 2012

It may have been 1975, when Juanita Nielsen was around yet Juanita and many that came after Juanita have been looking for the rainbow where the pot of gold is.

For some of us, we wouldn't care and for others it has been a life's search to uncover the illegal money where the drugs turn into money.

The money is the commodity, where you can have the cars, the houses, the renovations, the pubs, the tattoo shops, yet it is still the hidden money that the government is looking for. The roof space hiding a few thousands. Well where I come from, the walls are made of money. Many people... (more)

Madame X Love at first Sting

By Jennifer Stone, published on May 18, 2012

From the first sighting of Kings Cross the hidden agenda, the night that was the decider. Seeing all the prostitutes, lined up against the shop fronts in Kings Cross. This is the Red light district Kings Cross, the tourist capital of the world for many is Kings Cross. Drug addicts eyes, no one can hide them. The skinny, pale, grey in colour faces that sidle up beside the punters yet we need a health Kings Cross. With the hidden drug trade pouring the white stuff where is the Bohemian Kings Cross?

Where once Kings Cross was made up of cafe's, dress shops, sex shops, adult dvd shops,... (more)

Drug addiction? Drugs affect so many.

By Jennifer Stone, published on May 14, 2012

Last night, I interviewed a drug tormented person, who had lived for years on the streets. Wasting a life where miracles happen. Talented person yet this person has this hidden agenda where a spoon and a drug bag is not far away.

Our government has helped with drug houses, with many hours even years of therapy through which the drugs were left behind. Within a slight offering, the needle would come out as the interview progressed, this drug of nuisance for some and for the government had been feeding many a person to keep the illegal crime happening to support a business where the... (more)

Kings Cross who owns it?

By Jennifer Stone, published on May 13, 2012

Who owns Kings Cross?

It has been in the spotlight of late, yet who does own Kings Cross?

Does the government notice the transactions of drug trade on the streets tonight as I write this story, of the 10 transactions each worth $100 for the seller that he borrowed the drugs from a home invasion as he said. Life is different yet it can be cleaned up and the town made better.

It is not the drugs so much as the low lifes selling the points, from a point on the footpath, to inside the takeaway cafe's yet it could be money transaction on the strip and delivery in the back lane.... (more)
