Another New York Upset?

By Jeff Weisinger, published on Feb 3, 2008

Injust less than24 hours from now, the New York Giants will take on the undefeated New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII at Glendale, Arizona. The talks for the past two weeks haven't completely just been about the Patriots going 19-0, something unheard of in today's NFL, but have also been a lot about the underdog New York Giants pulling off one of the biggest upsets in sports today.

By Jeff Weisinger, published on Jan 25, 2008

The Raidersreturn to the "young coach" era may be done before it even took off.

When Al Davis hired former USC assistant coach Lane Kiffin to take control of the Silver and Black, most saw a step in the right direction (myself included). "We haven't been given a shot, but we're here and I think we're deserving of it," Manning said. "Right now I'm excited as I can be."

Return to Excellence for the Silver and Black

By Jeff Weisinger, published on Oct 4, 2007

Ever since their disasterous loss in Super Bowl XXXVII to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, most can say that the Oakland Raiders have lost their swagger. After posting a 2-14 record in the 2006 season, the Raiders are finally beginning to turn things around. Last year, the Raiders had very inconsistent play no the offense. Quarterbacks Aaron Brooks, Andrew Walter and Marques Tuiososopo could not get the offense going. Now, Andrew Walter in the only one that remains on the roster. However, the 2007 season has been much more kind to the Silver and Black. After starting the season 0-2, the Raiders... (more)
