So You Think We Can Live Without Oil?

By D. E. Carson, published on Dec 29, 2010

This one is for all you who think oil is bad; who blame oil companies for everything that is wrong with America; think that we don’t need oil and/or wrongfully label oil companies as the greediest of evil corporations.

What if America just simply stopped drilling for and importing oil?

First of all, your car would run out of gas and you would have to just leave it where it died because there would be no tow trucks to come get it. So now you’re left to walk everywhere you go. You can’t take the bus because oil is used to make the diesel fuel that powers them. On the off chance... (more)

Death Panels: Myth or Reality?

By D. E. Carson, published on Dec 27, 2010

As Democrats tried to ram 0bamacare down the throats of Americans, one particular piece of verbiage caught the eyes of several people who opposed it. The idea that doctors who receive Medicare payments for patient services would have been forced to convince critically ill patients to forego aggressive treatments simply because they were too old. In the final bill passed into law earlier this year, this concept was quietly slid under the rug.

Now, according to the New York Times – the most liberal, left-leaning newspaper in the nation – it would seem that 0bama is going to bring back... (more)

The System is BROKEN!

By D. E. Carson, published on Dec 8, 2010

A 47-year-old man was attacked by other inmates in a holding cell at the Rancho Cucamonga, CA detention center. The reason for the attack is not absolutely certain, but the man, Reginald Christopher, was awaiting transportation to court to be sentenced for his conviction of having sexual relations with and pimping out a 13-year-old girl[1]. It is reasonable to believe that his conviction constituted much of the impetus for the attack.

Christopher was convicted in October of having sex with his 13-year-old victim as well as pimping her out to others in Montrose and Ontario. The crimes... (more)

Why Does Everyone Hate Bristol Palin?

By D. E. Carson, published on Nov 17, 2010

With pop caterwauler Brandy now off Dancing with the Stars the Hate Bristol Palin rampage has kicked into overdrive. There is obviously no love lost between this writer and Brandy – frankly this writer sees Brandy as a no-talent hack with a penchant for hiring a really good lawyer to make a hit and run incident disappear completely. Regular viewers of the ABC hit can’t believe that Bristol Palin has made it to the DWTS finale to be held next week. One man in Wisconsin actually pulled out a shotgun and unloaded on his television because he believed the only reason Bristol was on the show... (more)

Banging on the Front Door

By D. E. Carson, published on Nov 14, 2010

Remember that mysterious contrail that appeared in the west over the Pacific Ocean last week? So-called “experts” have put the issue to rest with the thinly-veiled explanation that it was an airplane – specifically an eastbound America West 747 flying from Hawaii to Phoenix. These “experts” tell us that because the contrail was shot from a news helicopter that it gave the illusion of being something other than what it was. Their claim is that a news helicopter’s altitude of a few hundred feet off the ground changed enough of the viewing angle to make the trail look different – an “optical... (more)

Can GOP Really Repeal 0bamaCare?

By D. E. Carson, published on Nov 9, 2010

For all of you GOP / Tea Party fans out there who think that with the GOP take-over of the House of Representatives America will see a swift and decisive return to more practical thinking on Capitol Hill, you better sit down for this one. One of the major themes of the 2010 election was that if the GOP were to regain control of Congress there would be a complete reversal of ObamaCare eliminating it from the books.

The truth is: ain’t gonna happen. At least not right away.

There are very few, if any really honorable or even acceptable parts to the health care bill passed last... (more)

Williams Out at NPR

By D. E. Carson, published on Oct 22, 2010

The vipers are turning on their own. It’s inevitable because it is in their nature. Liberal commentator and analyst Juan Williams, the only black liberal analyst at National Public Radio, has been fired following comments made during his regular weekly appearance on Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor.

The question is: why was Williams fired?

The answer is simple: he won’t toe the line with the rest of the politically correct crowd and go along quietly with the rest of his liberal colleagues. His comment went as follows: “I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of... (more)

Republicans Taste Their Own Medicine

By D. E. Carson, published on Sep 19, 2010

Robert Gibbs is a horse's ass. So are Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Karl Rove.

Wait a minute! Did reknown Republican backer D.E.Carson actually say that Karl Rove is a horse's ass? Oh, my GOD! It's a sign of the apocolypse.

Yes and remember folks, you read it here first, D.E.Carson actually called Karl Rove a horse's ass and lumped him in with such undesirable nimrods as Robert Gibbs, Obama, Reid and Pelosi. So here's why I did it. It's really a simple answer. Because D.E.Carson is not a straight-ticket, down-the-line Republican (okay, so I channeled Bob Dole... (more)

You Can’t Blame Bush Anymore

By D. E. Carson, published on Sep 4, 2010

“We inherited this economic crisis from the previous administration.” This is the mantra of the Obama Administration for the last 20 months. They want to make everything Bush’s fault and yet, there comes a time when you have to stop blaming someone else for your mistakes. But as usual, Obama keeps playing the “Not my fault” card as if it’s supposed to make all of us poor Americans somehow feel better.

First of all, this isn’t Bush’s fault as Obama would have you believe. The economy is the result of liberal fiscal policies that have been in place since 2006 when they... (more)

Gulf Oil Spill Over – For Now at Least

By D. E. Carson, published on Jul 18, 2010

Imagine your house is on fire and the fire department doesn’t bother to show up for about three or four hours after the fire was reported. Then when the flames have gone away, they pack up and leave – never mind that there are still burning embers in that pile of ash where you used to live.

This is how HRH Obama has handled the gulf oil spill. He didn’t bother to even think about it for almost 40 days and then he decides to get involved when his own supporters begin to question his motives. During the first few days of the crisis, over 30 countries offered their assistance to handle... (more)
