Katherine Cobb's Profile
A word about Katherine Cobb:
I am a displaced Californian living in West Virginia. Born and raised in the Bay Area, I last lived in San Francisco, and never realized what a special place it was until I left to travel the country. There was no sourdough bread to be found beyond our borders, either, much to my dismay. I am a columnist and feature writer who is working on a fictional novel about a group of teenagers in Oakland.
In front of my computer, with my nose in a book on the couch (don't get too horizontal, though, because the sofa is a sleep-promoting device) or out getting some fresh air hiking or biking in the mountains (well, hills really) of West Virginia. Most months, this also means copious amounts of hours on some ballfield watching my kid play baseball.
Currently screaming through the Harry Potter series. Better late than never.
All kinds. Funk to rock to jazz to surf music to Categories With No Name.
All Quentin Tarantino, Ron Howard, Marty Scorsese films. I enjoy a wide range of films but don't tend to like many foreign films as I find reading subtitles irritating.
