Ava is a professional Fashion Designer as well as a freelance writer. Originally born in South Texas, she now resides in New York City and draws much of her inspiration from life in New York and the Brooklyn boroughs. She is currently publishing a book of poetry and prose entitled, "That Which Doesn't Kill Us", inspired by her time spent in Los Angeles.
