My wonderful son about 9 months old posing as a peaceful angel

My lyrical lamentation of our need to sleep. I need a 30 hour day, not a 18 hour one!

What is the use?
Oh how I lament this need!
We need more hours
Not less!
This robber of ours
Steals our moments
By silent slumber
Not so silent snoring
Boring Boring BORING!

What a priceless treasure of a photo. :) Sleep...there's never enough time and also, once we have slept, never enough time to complete all we have missed because of lost hours sleeping.

He is perfect! Oh happy Daddy, to have a son such as he.

I'd like to recommend my favorite book title:

"The Prophet" 1923

written by: Kahlil Gibran (artist and writer)

@Jack - Ah yes I remember the days of lack of sleep. Yet, ever hour of sleep lost was worth the joy. I believe you will find the same to be true of your handsome son. He is a beautiful baby. He is worth every moment of shared wakefulness.

@Theresa, I have a very well worn and well read copy of The Prophet. I read it to him sometimes.

Thanks for all the feedback and compliments on my boy. He is 4 now and I have a 1 yr old girl. I just like how his photo fit the topic :-)
