The secret history of the American left. part 1

by PATRICK PETION (writer), Little Ferry NJ, February 28, 2011

Their derange smears will never stop because those liberal are sick and intellectually dishonest, that how I portait the left in a recent article.in his book Liberal fascism,

the author Jonah Goldberg gave us an inside in the philosophy of the left and their real origin, present the real source of their doctrinal roots. The left constantly rewriting history so they can hide their real agenda, but as a student and a lover of history you can debunk them.

Mussolini was glorify by the left as a great man and a champion of socialist movement. In 1923 the journalist F Marcoson of the New York time wrote admiringly about Mussolini: He is a latin Teddy Roosevelt who first act and then inquires if it is legal.he had been a great service to italy at home. Also in a declaration the commander of the american legion state : the Fascist are to Italy what the American legion is to the united states.for those progressive liberal journalist Mussolini was a particular hero, the author remark about Ida Tarbell help to understand the view of the left about fascism and Mussolini at this time. the author wrote:The US state department fear that this pretty red radical would write nothing but violent anti Mussolini articles. their fear were misplaced. Tarbell was wooed by the man she called a despot with a dimple, praising his progressive attitude toward labor.

It seem as the far left was very involved with the fascist movement back in the 20 and 30 when it was normal to praise the movement. But in reality both movement idea and philosophy are identical, therefore it normal for the social liberal to identify themself with the fascist movement. Another muckraker leftist liberal whom champion themselves of protector of the little guy as the author describe them, praise Mussolini as special creation of god.John Goldberg wrote about him: God had formed Mussolini out of the rib of Italy. From the liberal media to élite American institution the fascist philosophy was admire and accept as a great movement of the advancement and triumph of social freedom.

Columbia University was very accommodated to the fascist philosophy as point the author. they were so accomoded to the fascist movement that in 1926 they established the casa italian. that center was specially for the study of Italian culture, however their main focus was on the study of the idea and the philosophy of the fascist movement that the progressive had been actively involved in. Mussolini himself had contributed some ornate baroque furniture according to the author he also added that, the President of Columbia had receive from Mussolini a sign photo which thanking him for his most valuable contribution to the promotion of understanding between fascist and the united state social liberal ideology. Prominent liberal intellectual pf this period believe that the fascist ideology was a good one, and they were certain with such idea they could carry out their social dream. Fascist for them was a way to fulfill their utopia of solving society problem through government control.

For more than a decade the far left liberal admire Mussolini and the fascist ideology, we can conclude that the progressive were for most pro fascist for most of it first decade; it wasn't untill the great depression that the left start attacking Mussolini, but Jonah Goldberg explain the attack was mostly and earnest largely on orders from Moscow. Hollywood had made Mussolini a star of the big screen. The liberal fascist explains how Hollywood portray him on page 29 of this book it is noted: Hollywood mogul, nothing his obvious theatrical gifts, hoped to make Mussolini a star of the big screen, and he appear in the Eternal city (1923)p29 liberal fascist. Everyone whom care to know about the relation between fascism and social liberal should read the fascist liberal, Jonah give a great inside of the live of Mussolini and were his philosophy and ideology come from.

When you understand the live of the father of fascist, it would be easy to see the connection between progressive and fascist. one point to understand is Mussolini philosophy was a philosophy of the left, he was a radical leftist whom want to change society and despise capitalist and religious freedom. so compare fascist with the right and religion is absurd.

Let's not forget the great leftist thinker Antonio Gramsci languished in Mussolini's prison. The imprisonment contributed greatly to his death.

As the 1983 American Heritage Dictionary noted, fascism is: "A system of government that exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business leadership, together with belligerent nationalism." Vice President Wallace bluntly laid out in his 1944 Times article his concern about fascism happening here in America: " If we define an American fascist as one who in case of conflict puts money and power ahead of human beings, then there are undoubtedly several million fascists in the United States. There are probably several hundred thousand if we narrow the definition to include only those who in their search for money and power are ruthless and deceitful. ... They are patriotic in time of war because it is to their interest to be so, but in time of peace they follow power and the dollar wherever they may lead."This sounds like a Tea Party capitalist to me!
