Love Is

Ask a hundred different people what love is and you will get a hundred different answers, here are some of mine.

Back in the 80s, the phrase Love Is…Never Having To Say You're Sorry, was very popular. It was everywhere. In my opinion, that's a bit naive, as saying you're sorry just kind of comes with the territory of relationships at one point or another. To me love is many things and here I share just a few. Some may be things that mean love to you, some may not. What love is, is different to everyone - and yet somehow the same.

Love is - someone who will take time out of their busy day to call you just to tell you a joke.

Love is - someone who goes to the grocery and comes back with your favorite chocolates or coffee.

Love is - someone who can make you laugh every single day.

Love is - someone who will watch a TV show with you they are not that fond of just to sit beside you.

Love is - someone who tells the truth.

Love is - someone to whom character matters.

Love is - someone who gives, not uses.

Love is - someone who becomes extremely successful but never forgets what you mean to them.

Love is - someone who sends you a text picture of something beautiful for no reason at all.

Love is - someone who makes sure every day you know that they love you in all kinds of ways.

Love is - someone who believes in you no matter what.

Love is - someone who remembers the little things matter.

Love is - someone who listens.

Love is - someone to hold your hand, kiss your lips, and cradle your heart.

Make sure to love someone today - it fills the soul.

I love this! it makes me feel all nice and cozy inside knowing I found that special someone :D . I like what you came up with. As for the "love is..never having to say your sorry" I think it's a clever saying because it's saying they never do anything wrong/ or the other person forgives them for their mistakes. but I don't think it applies in this day and age because we all screw up a few times a day, I think Love is...saying your sorry. It's so hard for people to admit they did wrong and even if they didn't to realize you were hurt nontheless and they should be sensitive toward your feelings and say sorry. great article :D

People should say their sorry - most definitely. Too many hurts are carried around on the heart for lifetimes because one was too proud to say I'm sorry or they didn't believe they needed to be sorry for whatever. Love is...putting someone else's heart before your own :D
