Let's Play By New Rules

by Lady D (writer), Perris, Ca, October 06, 2010

Learning to see life through new eyes and new thoughts

I am fine in this wacky world. Trying to look at life differently. Realizing we don't have to play the game these people have created for us.

We need to start a new game with new and better rules that include all the people.

We made all this up anyway so we can change it.

No longer choose to live in hate and fear. If "They" really want a New World Order lest give it to them.

The basic rule is "Do what thou wilt but harm none" or "Do unto others and you would have them do unto you." This rule is not hard to find it is somewhere in every religion or philosophy. And I am sure you can find the opposite in every religion and philosophy, such as "An eye for eye and a tooth for a tooth" But as Dr. Phil is so fond of saying "How's that workin for ya."

No longer feeling like a failure because we don’t make enough money to have all the toys.

“Money changes everything”-Cindy Lauper.

So how can we change what money represents? We are just beings on this earth and the more I talk to people I see they are lost and just want to live and be with their families.

We are all so different and we are all so judgmental. The more I talk to people the more I see myself. We all have our quirks and yet we all think are shit doesn’t stink. It is always the other guy.

When you are isolated like the wealthy, you miss a lot. But it is we who allow those people to take advantage, because it is we who serve them.

But you say if we protest they will call the cops and put us in jail. Well this probably true, but if the whole nation decides to go to jail, who will man the jails. The jailers are us.

We need to stop being pawns in the game.

We need an army that prevents wars, not one that makes them just for the sake of money.

Should we all go out on strike? It could work. Not everyone followed Martin Luther King or Gandhi but enough did and it changed everything.

Are we so afraid that we can’t say what we feel? Where is this fear coming?

We need to break this cycle of greed and destruction. The human race can be more that it currently realizes. So how do we take the quantum leap to seeing who we really are? Basically learning some facts.

The human body is 99.99% empty space.

Humanity is so much more than we see.

We have been programmed to not look beyond or question what we see. We even have shows that purport to tell us what reality is and how we should act.

All this supposed chaos that is happening today is a chance for us to look at life and see how inclusive it truly can be.

The old ways of control are dead unless you are willing to accept or hang on to the fear and hate.

Allow as much as you can, as often as you can, to see yourself in others.

Remember what the Indians said to Christopher Columbus, “You discover us, we discover you. It is all in how you look at it.”

Thanks Melody. The reason I haven't written in a while is (besides being lazy) my own fear and anger. I learning to stop trying to fix the world and just be happy.

Empathy can spice up reality, but it may take a huge cataclysm to unify all people.

"New rules," it's a phenomenal idea, however it may require a sophisticated society to perform that kind of unity.
