The Sky is Crying

While waiting for a taxi in the rain, I was inspired to write a piece on why the Sky was crying.

Mr. Sky

Why do you cry?

What is the reason for each tear that falls from your eye?

Is it because of the crime you see?

Do you cry because of the father who beat his child because she wouldn't sit in her car-seat?

Or was it because of the man who stole the old lady's purse and then pushed her down while saying a curse?

Or was it the gossipy school girls again speaking while pointing at the homeless man, causing him pain?

Or was it when the mother yelled at her daughter and made a scene, that embarrassed the little girl to extreme?

Or was it the murder that took place down the street?

Or the teenager who drank, then drove and killed a family of 3?

Or the man who stole the young girl's car by gun point, and then knocked her down to prove his point?

Or perhaps the robber at the store, on the corner of that street, next to the oak tree?

Was it those men who gang raped that girl in Tennessee?

I don't know which occurrence made you Cry Mr. Sky

but if I were you

I'd be crying too

Taking off the mask, the reasons you list in this article are worth making Mr Sky cry. We also cry physically, morally an spiritually because of the same reasons. None of us can help crying due to the evils we see around us day after day and repeatedly. This world has become crazy.

@ MUGISHO N.THEOPHILE - crazy is an understatement. I think scary is a better word.
