What is an entrepreneur?

by Angie Alaniz (editor), San Antonio, Texas, August 01, 2010

A great opportunity may come once in a life time, will you jump on it before it fly's by?

There's nothing ordinary to being an entrepreneur. You're living on the edge. Sometimes looking into the abyss. Yet a spirit, a knowingness, faith or some random event pushes your forward.

Entrepreneur, Entrepreneur, what does it mean to be an entrepreneur?

Means you’ve had it, your done, sick of ordinary, you must have more!

No bosses, no schedules, how quickly they set in.

It’s fine, we can, we like getting it done.

To much?, Not enough! That’s right, sometimes it’s all about us!

Step up, stand up, how about more responsibilities?

I know, means more, sometimes just comes forth.

Can’t do it? Move over, let me do it, that’s what risk is for.

Try out of the box, not in the box, you don’t think enough,

Isn’t that what life’s for?

No more “how it is” more like “it can be” we like doing something more.

Think big, think hard, think fast, visualization moves fast.

Grab a rope, not a joke, you going to loop that flying horse?

I forget, with regret, I must say, not everyone can be an entrepreneur.

Melody nails this review. What an interesting combination of business and poetry. I'm not sure I've ever seen it done before. Really well written and fun to read.

I just get excited seeing Angie stepping out and letting her hair down. Expressing oneself is rewarding. Angie ... You do it well!
