Re-Try to Re-Kindle

Tally on New Year's

Revisiting Christmas 2009 to keep the spirit all through the night

The trees await recycle

Tinsel and bells put away

Scattered houses still implore beauty

Of the season with a luminous display

Hold Dear

All those without

Are now wonderfully adorned

Cries heard.

Mouth feed

Bodies clothed

Ah! Here's an abode

The 25th has passed

It's New Year's at last...

Now the music and merry are faint in sound

For me still wonderously endures

Hope, Joy, and Expectancy

For an innovative and blessed New Year

St. Nick came to town

So put away the Monday frowns

Merry making yet abounds

Keep the Spirit throughout the night

Stay in the Spirit of the season, all year long

Re-Try and Re-Kindle every sunrise

Each sunset...the splendor and magic

Of that glorious time

Let the rhythm stay in time

With life's everyday chime

No special date

Should await

Smiles, cheers, hand shakes, and giving

Hope for all can be January through December fate

Re-Try & Re-Kindle the song

Poem & Prose

May it never succumb into a misty haze

The message and essence remain afresh

Each moment of the every day

Happy 2010!
