People To Schwarzenegger: We're Not Your A. T. M.!

Schwarzenegger says he got the message. But it's unlikely that he knows what to do with it.

On the day after seeing his special ballot measures not only shot down, but shot down and engulfed in roaring flames, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger told reporters in Washington, D. C. that he got the message.

“An overwhelming majority of people told Sacramento, 'Go and do your work yourself, don't come to us with your problems’. The message was clear from the people, ‘go all out and make those cuts and live within your means’," he said.

You’re pretty much on the money there “Ah-nold”, but now, the question is, “what are you going to do about it?”

Well, how about not threatening to cut the paychecks of the people who actually make this state run? How about cutting your salary and the salaries of the members of the California State legislature? There’s a good start. How about stop footing the bill for the medical costs of illegal aliens? That would make a HUGE dent in the budget deficit. It works like this:

ER Admin Clerk: Are you a citizen of the United States of America, legally able to hold a job?

Patient: No.

ER AC: Then it is my duty to inform you that without upfront payment in cash or some sort of medical insurance, you cannot be served in this facility. Good day.

Patient: But I…

ERAC: Security! Remove this deadbeat from the premises and have him turned over to INS for deportation. Get cash, get legal or get out.

See? That wasn’t so hard, now was it?

Did you know that if you’re an American Citizen in Mexico and you end up in an ER, you’re not allowed to leave the country until you pay your medical bill in full? MY version of the single payer health care system works like this: anyone who requires medical assistance must have a single party responsible for his own care – himself!

This idea that we have to layoff teachers is stupid. First of all, even though I am vehemently opposed to state run schools, they are the LAST ones who should be cut. Without teachers you morons, nobody learns anything. If we stop giving welfare checks to people who are able to work but just don’t, stop providing free health care to illegal aliens and actually lower corporate taxes in California, you might actually see companies want to move to California.

Didn’t anyone notice what happened a few years ago when corporate taxes in California went up? COMPANIES LEFT THE STATE! Hello? McFly?

I’m serious when I say this, lower the corporate tax rates in California, stop spending money on ALL SERVICES for illegal aliens and stop giving money to people who won’t get a fricking job and the state’s economic problem is solved. Now if I can figure that out, why the hell can’t Sacramento?

To the anonymous person who blasted my article with the following lie:

" an anti-immigrant tirade...that is NOT why CA budget is in trouble..."

Uh, wrong.  That's EXACTLY why California is in trouble.  Thanks to the "spread the wealth" Socialist Democrats running this state who think everyone should have the government take care of them.

I love how you tried to bill this as an "anti-immigrant" piece.  You must be one of those Socialist Democrats who can't read very well and think that the terms "illegal alien" and "legal immigrant" are interchangeable.

I have never -- repeat NEVER -- sought to stop people from entering this country legally.  I don't ever want people to stop wanting to come to America to have a better life.  I just want those who are here illegally to get legal or get out.  We are a nation of laws and illegal aliens violate those laws by sneaking in here and leeching off our government without paying taxes to support the system.

Anybody who thinks this article was an anti-immigrant piece is sadly mistaken.  The problem is, illegal aliens are the largest drain on the California welfare system.  They take money out by going to ERs knowing they won't be turned away because they can't pay.  They know the state will compensate the hospital for them even though they never paid a dime in state income taxes.

Also, did you not see that I'm actually supporting teachers and saying that laying off teachers is not the answer?  Gee, Mr. Carson, that's a very liberal stance for you to be taking because traditionally, Republicans oppose paying teachers since Republicans believe that public schools are liberal indoctrination centers.

For the record: I'm not a Republican.

Did you also not see that I was attacking the idea of raising corporate taxes and pointing out the results of such action?

I'm so sorry that you have your head shoved so far up your ass that you couldn't see past the biggest problem with the California state budget and see that I pointed out other glaring issues -- namely the attempt to justify cutting education to make up for the deficit.  Education is the last place governments should look to make cuts when dealing with fiscal irresponsibility in the legislature.

As usual, I offer legitimate solutions to a problem and I'm labeled an anti-immigrant.  I stand up for a very liberal cause (education) and that's ignored.  Good job Mr. Reviewer.  You have successfully completed your liberal socialist training course.  You may now report to your local hospital for your lobotomy and Obama assimilation procedure.

BTW:  How's that whole "hopee-changey" thing working out for ya?
