Truth Or Dare Part 1

by Credo (writer), I practice living in the Spirit, May 10, 2009

probing truth is societies only therapeutic optimism. Discover the secrets of how religion, money, politics and secret societies are congenitally tied together.

Truth is a very complicated creature to domesticate, although we have tried, we can’t train it or house break it because somehow it will always find a way to do its own thing and tell it like it is. Since we can’t change the truth without lying to ourselves, without some form of deception or cognitive dissonance steady growing among the people, I dare you to tell the truth, the truth about anything. Try telling the truth about our history, I mean the whole unadulterated truth, with no holds barred, with no excuses and without fear of reprisals. Can we say that we are spiritually wealthy enough to tell the truth regardless of how the world around us believes the truth is? Recognizing that the world’s truth is one manufactured by the establishment; it is a false truth that’s been reared into the population over an elongated period (it’s known as managing public perceptions which is conducted by the government, who are merely the puppet machine of the establishment). Let’s talk about one of those truths, a saturated truth that was brought back to the forefront of my attention during an email session with a special friend of mine who ask me about religion, in particular the Jehovah Witnesses. She said that they were seeking to induct her into their fold but she wasn’t too sure about some of their beliefs. She wanted to know what I thought, of the question of authenticity concerning the Jehovah Witness religious conviction, while I was at it, I also threw in some analytical information about the merits of religion as a conclusive summation. Here is my response (Although I haven’t been online in some time, of course I spruced it up a bit for your edification; this is the essence of that response). {EMAIL RESPONSE: not to include my friend’s name, her email address or her original email to me out of my great respect for her and her privacy}

The Lord Hid Himself From His People

Isaiah 57:17 (God speaking through Isaiah the prophet about Israel)For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on forwardly in the way of his heart.

Hosea 5:6 (God speaking through Hosea the prophet about Israel)

· They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the Lord; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.

Isaiah 44:9 (God speaking through Isaiah the prophet about Israel, but this passage also seems to be reflective of the Jehovah Witnesses too, graven images are symbolic of false gods or idol worship)

· 9.They that make graven images are all of them vanity and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, no know; that they may be ashamed.

Exodus 6:3

· 3.And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Je-ho'-vah was I not known to them.

Isaiah 41:8

· 8.But thou Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen the seed of Abraham my friend.

Can you make a contract with a person without a name, a signature or some form of identification? ( in this case the contract is the covenant between God and Israel) Can you truly be a friend to someone if you don't know their name? Can you give a title to someone if you don't know who they are? Would you give a personal gift to a person that you don't know by name? Would It be safe to say that a close friend would certainly know your name?

How can you pay homage to an unseen or absent friend if you don't know their name?

God Almighty is a title and an attribute, it is not a name.. The truth once again is conscientiously hidden behind many titles, the Bible has been tampered with on several occasions throughout history, I would say that the reasons for this is that someone important has something big to hide.

Reflective of the fact that Abraham was God’s chosen friend he knew surely God’s real name, which means that this passage identifies the name Je-ho-vah as a given label and not as his true name. Historically man has given the creator many names including naming God after his own attributes as seen in the religion of Islam. Unfortunately it is not what man calls him that counts, but what He calls himself that matters. We as human beings are not worthy enough to name the creator as he needs nothing from us, although he has named his creation. What is his name and what is his son’s name if thou can tell?

Isaiah 45:4-5 (God speaking through Isaiah the prophet about Israel)

· 4. For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name, I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

· 5.I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me, I girded thee, though thou has not known me.

Deuteronomy 28:36,64 (God speaking through Moses the prophet about Israel, note here that the Lord is not happy with the fact that Israel chose a human king over himself, this is one of many reasons Israel offended or sinned against the Lord God)

· 36.The Lord shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.

· 64. And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

Hosea 3:4,5

· 4.For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an e’-phod, and without ter-a-phim:

· 5.Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king, and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days.

Psalms 147:19-20

· 19. He showeth his word unto Jacob, his Statutes and his Judgments unto Israel.

· 20. He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them..

Ezekiel 39:24-29 (God speaking through Ezekiel the prophet about Israel)

· 24.According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.

· 25.Therefore thus saith the Lord ; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

· 26.After that they have borne there shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.

· 27.When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations.

·28.Then shall they know that I am the Lord their God, which cause them to be lead into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

· 29.Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord .

Malachi 3:7-9(God speaking through Malachi the prophet about Israel)

· 7.Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of host. But ye said wherein shall we return?

· 8.Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, wherein have we robbed thee? “In tithes and offerings”.

· 9. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Psalm 44:19-24 (for the sons of Korah, Maschill; Israel speaking to God about their relationship,)

· 19. Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.

·20. If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;

· 21. Shall not God search this out? For he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

· 22. Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.

· 23. Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? Arise, cast us not off for ever.

· 24. Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?

Amos 8:11-12 God speaking through Amos the prophet about Israel)

· 11. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord , that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:

· 12. And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.

With this kind of famine (a famine of God’s word) and given the fact that the Hebrew Israelites were scattered all over the world that is certainly an indication that the world had no knowledge of God and their only connection to God was Israel, who now has lost their connection due to their sins. God has hidden the word from them, he has hidden his face from them and he has removed their memory from them, (they were a nation of priest that became a foolish nation). Let’s examine the evidence closer, God is a jealous God (but not in the same way that man is jealous but with a godly jealousy), so he thought it a sin that his people worshipped idols and false gods, (all the false gods are spelled with a small g in the Bible).

Deuteronomy 4:24 For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

Excerpt: from the Bible; God speaking about Israel as a chaste virgin who is freed from sin and made the bride to the Savoir.

11Corinthians 11:2 “For I am jealous over you with godly jealously: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.”

Just as a man’s wife is his body, so too is Israel the bride and body of Christ.

God punished his people as a result of there transgressions, visiting the sins of the fathers on to the sons, fourth and fifth generations. God made them wander about the world without him to see what would become of them, if they would understand and confess their sins. God hid his face meaning that Israel would not be able to call on God because his name would not be available to them. If we were to play a game called “hide and seek”, and if I hid from you where you couldn't find me but you had the option to call out my name, therefore you would consequently find me (or be “saved” from losing the game) then by virtue of just knowing my name I couldn't ever hide from you, I'd always appear when you called. This is just so, with the creator, those who knew his name had complete access to him, but those who didn't know his name went without a God to ensure their steps. (And so Israel became God forsaken or a Godless people)

Psalm 44:20-21

· 21. If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;

· 22. Shall not God search this out? For he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

He also hid his word from them, oh yes they had the Bible but they couldn’t understand it (keep in mind the book had seven seals on it to block the comprehension process); neither could they perceive God’s words “(as per the famine) as prophets nor priest so they were truly lost. Where they once had known him face to face they now don’t know him because they call on strange gods who they or their fathers have never known. If they were scattered all over the world and if they could find neither God nor his word that means that religion in its entirety was/is false idolatry (religion turns out to be man’s mental graven image of what God should be, together with their own concept of how we should worship him and how God should judge the world, with everybody being equal in the opportunity for salvation. In that case the grace of God isn’t indispensable and would then undermine the faith that God and the Lord has entrusted in us).

A palpable clue is seen in Deut 28:36 this conclusively illustrates that the ideology of religion is not of God but of man. Israel was sent to every corner of the earth (scattered to one end of the earth even to the other) and once there they would not be able to find God or his true name. Apparently to the other nations God was/is unknown, to illustrate this point in Acts 17:23 in supremely bold letters it states “TO THE UNKNOWN GOD” This kind of bold lettering means more in the literary sense than just shouting or speaking loud, it is a statement of absolute certainty, proving that none of the other nations (with the exception of ancient Israel, who God associated with during ancient times) recognized the true name of God because the other nations absolutely didn’t know it. To set the stage Athens is a territory of Greece land of the Greeks. In all actuality Athens is a city in southeastern Greece, capital and largest city of the country.

Acts 17:22-26

·22)“Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.”
