Obama Banking On Momentum Over Message

by Delores Williams (writer), Los Angeles, February 20, 2008

If Something is too good to be true, it probably has issues. Obama is banking on you overlooking the junk food he is feeding you, when you ordered a steak.

Let's face facts and realize that people vote for who they "think" will win. They vote for the flavor of the day, just like in high school. Everyone hated the head cheerleader and the quarterback, but they went the way of popularity.

America has shown that it is no better than dictator countries in their voting. Dictators just cut out the middle guy and kill dissendents, but in America there may not be blood shed, but people let go of all their principles, morals, and common sense, so they don't feel left out.

Look at American Idol Jordin Sparks, who received the highest votes in their history, but when the record came out, they didn't go to buy. It is all about the flavor of the day. Obama is the flavor of the day now, but if he wins, I have a feeling that America is going to slapped silly by their own stupidity. Why? The simplist question, why is Barak Obama Presidential material? He is a motivator, no, he is a gifted speaker, that is different. He may be able to motivate college kids to go vote at the primary, but what about when it counts? Can he motivate african nations to stop the genocide? Nope, not even with his Kenyian ties. Can he stop terrorists like the Taliban, Islamic Extremists, American haters, like Iran and Venezuela? No, only in his speeches.

He talks about change, and that is a great buzz word, and the reality is that he has changed the landscape by getting as far as he has, but I wonder about a man who lives in lala land with his ideas. In a sense he reminds me of Nicholoe in the Tim LaHaye series. That man talked change, motivated people, and when he got into power he destroyed them. I am not saying that Obama is the antichrist by any means of the word, but noting that the people, in both cases, will probably get what they want, and then live to regret it.
