2007 All Access Magazine Awards "Hip Hop of the Year" Artist Continues Making Waves in SoCal Hip Hop Scene.

Rising rapper LOOSE LOGIC brings his Positive Hip-Hop sounds to Hurricane’s Bar & Grill, 200 Main St., Huntington Beach, Thursday, March 6 and Thursday, March 20. Showtime: 10 p.m. and Tickets $5.00.

2007 was a breakout year for LOOSE LOGIC, called “an up-and-coming rapper” (LOS ANGELES TIMES) as one of SoCal’s fastest-rising Hip-Hop artists. ‘Logic won “Best Hip-Hop/Urban Artist Of The Year” at the recent All Access Magazine Music Awards, November 3rd at Hollywood venue, The Knitting Factory. This comes on the heels of the rapper winning “Best Urban (Rap) Artist of the Year” at the 2007 Orange County Music Awards. The young musician is also chosen a “Top 100 Unsigned Artist” for 2007 by respected L.A.-based trade publication, MUSIC CONNECTION MAGAZINE.

“BEFORE THE STORM” is the rapper’s new CD that has been release to critical acclaim. “the third time proves to be a definite charm for rapper Loose Logic,” writes Robert Kinsler in the ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER. “The Westbrook-produced disc also boasts one of the best songs I've heard on any release this year, the haunting "This Dream," which effectively finds the young singer rapping about social and economic injustice against a musical landscape as noteworthy for lush keyboards as the intoxicating rhythm.”

Loose Logic has performed onstage with national recording acts KRS-1, DJ Quick, Strong Arm Steady, and Evidence, among others. “He flows with the grit of Tupac and the wit and playful lyricism of Eminem,” writes SQUEEZE OC. “The beats are deep…from the up-and-coming MC and producer.” “An outstanding recording of rap poetry with some exceptional vocal offerings…quickly becoming a MUEN favorite!” raves MUEN MAGAZINE publisher, Greg Cataline. “Is Loose Logic going to be the next great White Hope of Hip-Hop? Could be,” says Brian Lush, Producer of the ROCKWIRED radio program. “It’s a safe bet that Loose Logic is going to be around for a while...” At a recent Long Beach show ‘Logic played with renowned rapper DJ Quick, Britt Warner (LONG BEACH GAZETTE) wrote, “at 9:30 p.m. Loose Logic popped in his CD and reclaimed the crowd…beyond his complexion lies a socially conscious warrior who’s more akin to Tupac if anyone…he possesses a rhythm and flow reminiscent of a one-man Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and a voice all his own.

The Southern California native -- previously selected for a new TV Pilot,“AMERICA’S BEST NEW RAPPER” -- began his Hip-Hop career at age 16, doing shows in schools and churches. Exhibiting a skillful ability to write his own music and play both keyboards and guitar, he quickly ascended the L.A. Hip-Hop scene, performing at renowned clubs such as B.B. King’s/Universal City Walk, where he was part of the “Super Summer” Concert sponsored by radio station KIIS-FM; as well as the House of Blues in Anaheim.
