Cars 3(2017): Animated movies are something which is no longer hailing children as the target audience with more of an overall focus as a home entertainment film. And Cars 3 is probably one of those movies, whose release is being awaited by a huge number of people around the world spanning various age groups. The third installment in the franchise which was first rolled out by Walt Disney Pictures and produced by Pixar Animation Studios back in 2006 is expected to see Lightning McQueen return as the principal protagonist in yet another action-packed light headed family drama animated movie.
Directed by Brian Fee, who was a storyboard animator on Cars (2006) and Cars 2 (2011), Cars 3 will see a lot of principal cast voicing members return for the next iteration in this much acclaimed animated series by Disney. One of the biggest premises surrounding Cars 3 has been regarding the new casting and characters which are slated to be introduced in the movie as well as the premise it is slated to follow. Following a chronological timeline, Cars 3 is slated to feature Mcqueen in an age where technologically advanced cars have an edge and how he competes against them after training with the help of a young female race technician.

Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game he will need the help of eager young female race technician Cruz Ramirez. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet, he will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage against his new rival, Jackson Storm.
Now there have been significant rumours surrounding the voice cast of Cars 3 and which new celebrity star would lend their voices to the all new characters apart from the return of regulars like Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy. Speculations were strife that Emma Watson of Harry Potter fame would be included to voice one of the mail protagonists but these failed to materialize. By the time the cast of Cars 3 was finalized, it was confirmed that Cristela Alonzo and Armie hammer would be the additions to the voicing list.

There has been a significant period of time between the Cars movies with Cars 2 coming 5 years after the first film in 2011.
