Romance, Dating & Sex: One of these things is not like Other

by Stuartclocks (writer), , December 23, 2016

Romance is one of the most powerful and most coveted forces when it comes to relationships. Whether you are male or female, it feels good to be in a romantic relationship.

When two people begin dating, they may not always have the same ending in mind. While one might be expecting a full-time partnership, the other might merely want a short-term one.

When situations like this occur, oftentimes, relationships end quickly and even bitterly. This is not a pretty a situation.

Enter Romance

Romance is one of the most powerful and most coveted forces when it comes to relationships. Whether you are male or female, it feels good to be in a romantic relationship.

With the excitement, allure, and burst of emotions that romance makes you feel, it's no wonder why romance is such an essential factor in dating and committed relationships.

The effect of romance on dating

No matter if you're a casual dater with more than one date a week or a committed partner in a serious relationship, romance is likely to play a big role in your relationship.

Romance is what sweeps women off their feet, and it's what makes gives men that air of gentlemanliness.

Keeping the romance alive in your relationship can be a very hard thing to do, but if you're able to do it, you may just have the time of your life. Just remember that romance is a powerful force, and it can easily sway emotions, actions, and thoughts.

Make sure you know what you're getting into before romantically committing yourself into it.

Some suggestions for spicing up the romance

-> Never underestimate the power of surprise. Little surprises go a long way if you're trying to spark some romance in your dating. Try surprising your partner with something as simple as a bouquet of flowers or a home-cooked meal.

-> Be patient and take time to think about the things you do for your partner. It's easy to look over small details when you're always rushing. Keep in mind that it's usually the fine details that spell the difference between romantic and apathetic.

-> The Internet is a great tool for finding romantic places to go and romantic things to do. Consider using the Internet to help you plan out your romantic dates.

Enter Sex

The key to solving the problem of sex in a romantic relationship is communication. When two people communicate honestly and openly, almost nothing can go wrong.

They will either realize that the relationship will not work (and spare you the heartache before it’s too late or even worse - an unpleasant STD that forces you into a lifetime of Dating with Herpes), or realize that you are just the person that he or she wants to make an effort for. Relationships are not free.

Although it is wonderful to be loved by someone, it is your responsibility and duty to love the person in return. No one deserves to be cheated.

Ready for Sex? Take some time and give it some careful thought.

Once the communication between you and your partner is strong, you will notice that everything else will fall delicately into place. Physical intimacies, such as sex, for example, will not be forced or regretted. Sex is not a casual act, and while some may think of it as such, for others it is meaningful and even soulful.

Getting on the same page.

Always be sure that both you and your partner share the same, mutual definition of what it means to express your love through sex. The worst thing is a relationship that is lacking in communication and lost in translation.

Love is supposed to be about giving and sharing. If it doesn’t feel right, then don’t do it. But if it feels good and right, embrace it and its consequences. After all, life and love are said to be synonymous.
