11 Fantastic Fall Snacks

With fun events popping up everything, the entire family is usually in for a treat during Fall

It is that time of the year again when we transit from the summery heat to the cold nights of winter. Unfortunately, the rise of Autumn also comes with a lot of responsibilities and a very busy schedule that will go on until the Christmas - and even for longer. The kids are going to school and, depending on where you work, your career might start to take a lot of your time in order to prepare for Christmas and the holiday rush. This also means that you will not have as much time to prepare meals for the family and you will often find yourself rushing to get dinner done in time for the family to have something to eat before they go to bed. We have compiled a list of some delicious snacks that you can prepare and have ready for anyone that's hungry this fall - put them on the table while you are preparing dinner and no one will keep asking you how long until dinner is ready. You can even keep them on the table during the day to leave a special treat behind for the kids.

1. Pumpkin Pie Energy Bars
Autumn is often associated with pumpkins, so we thought we'd start our list of snacks for fall with a pumpkin-based snack. These pumpkin pie energy bars have a pleasant taste and is filled with nutrient-rich ingredients. Pumpkin is rich in fiber, it has powerful antioxidants and can even help to control blood pressure. The other ingredients in these energy bars are also backed with vitamins, fatty acids, minerals and other substances that are essential for the human body. In addition, the bars also contain a lot of protein. The combination of ingredients is sure to give you a boost in energy and help you make it until dinner.

2. Mini Pumpkin Pies
If energy bars are not for you, then maybe you'd enjoy a mini pumpkin pie that can be used as an on-the-go snack. These mini pumpkin pies are delicious and nutritious. Broccoli is often considered as the world's healthiest food choice and for good reason. If you are a fan of energy bars, but do not like the taste of pumpkin, then maybe these apple pie snack bars would be a better choice for you. Finally, if you are in the mood for some meaty flavor, then we recommend you make some maple and bacon waffles. These are delicious and can be whipped up in just a couple of minutes to be served as a snack. Due to the combination of bacon and maple syrup, these waffles would also make a perfect pre-dinner bite or even a dessert after dinner. These snacks are perfect to help you keep the kids out of your hair while preparing dinner and they can even be added to your lunchbox so you can have a healthy treat to enjoy at work.
