Longings Of Yesterdays

Time has no boundaries where there is love....
watch the video

When it comes to sacred memories of lost loved ones, not even time can steal them from us....Forever in my heart....

I have tombstones in my heart

Places where those I once held in reality

Now live in sacred memories

I visit them often, talk with them, hold them

Remind them of bygone days of joy and pain....

No one passes through life

Without the longings for days gone by

Memories painted on an open heart

Cherished beyond earthly limitations.

Weaved within a tapestry of thoughts and dreams.....

Today I transpose what is reality

Instead returning to a humble time

Flesh and bones no longer haunting me

Resting in the serenity of a grace filled realm

Created by life itself....

While I repose in wonder and mystery

I once again hold close to my craving heart

The joy, the laughter, the tears and sorrow

Weighed in equal measure

Thanking God for moments in time.....

...yeah Barb with the hope the sad bad memories fade with time. They happened and they're there but hopefully overwhelmed by the scent of new happy growth from the shoots of relived good memories and the continuance of. :>)
