Think you nailed it in the last sentence Max."Don't depend on a scapel to make you beautiful on the inside." Maybe a beautiful heart or mind suffices? Bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates don't cost much. Or, a kiss on the cheek from albeit weathered lips? "i love you the way you are."
