In March 2015, Kyle Minogue will hit the road in Australia to perform in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth. The tour, titled 'Kiss Me Once,' is the first tour the pop singer has embarked on since a small set of dates called the 'Anti-Tour' where the pop singer performed stripped down versions of her songs in clubs around Australia. The 'Kiss Me Once' venture is the first arena tour series Minogue has had in almost four years.
'Kiss Me Once' is the name of Kyle Minogue's newest album, which went straight to number 1 in Australia during its initial release. Minogue is expected to put on a show-stopping arena event to support the new songs. Copies of 'Kiss Me Once' are currently available through Australia's Warner Music label and on digital music outlets around the country.
In true Kylie Minogue fashion, expect to see plenty of background dancers, musicians, and entertainers in this arena event.
While Kylie hasn't been on the road in a few years, she's stayed busy as a coach and judge on 'The Voice,' a spinoff of the American television show of the same name. Minogue helps singing hopefuls achieve their potential in front of a live studio audience where contestants are judged solely on the quality of their singing.
Minogue's newest single, 'Sexy Love,' has been topping the charts in Australia and mainland Europe after she debuted it live on an episode of Channel Nine's, 'The Voice.' The tour to support the single and album began in September 2014 in the UK and will make its way through Europe and eventually to Australia for a handful of dates.
In an exclusive interview with Channel V Music, Kylie expressed love and gratitude for finally being back in Australia to perform for her 2015 tour. She also said that her and the tour crew will pull out extra tricks for her home crowds in Australia, recommending that fans come with a good pair of dancing shoes to dance the night away.
Minogue's most recent surprise on stage was in June 2014 when she followed Coldplay back onto the stage for an encore at a show at the Enmore Theater.
Tickets for the performances became available back in July through pre-sales. Visa card holders can use their member benefits program to try and secure tickets to the highly anticipated performance by calling the customer service representatives and asking about remaining ticket availability.
As Minogue makes her way across Australia, she'll be playing exclusively in arenas. One of the performances will take place at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, a new and popular event expo centre. Hosting major acts like the Foo Fighter and Kyle Minogue for arena dates and helping corporate clients find the perfect space for a small banquet or conference, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre is consistently ranked as one of the best function centres in Australia.
Currently, there are no announcements about the supporting acts that will be opening for Kylie in Australia. On the popular concert-tracking website, Songkick, Kyle Minogue is ranked second as the most in-demand show in Australia for 2015, following performances by Lady Gaga and Katy Perry in the charts.
High ticket resale prices are expected for the Australian Minogue tour, and the artist's management has said they will do everything they can to keep event prices down to prevent scalpers from taking advantage of concertgoers.
