There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle ~ Albert Einstein

"Anything you do from the soulful self will help lighten the burdens of
the world. Anything. You have no idea what the smallest word, the
tiniest generosity can cause to be set in motion. Be outrageous in
forgiving. Be dramatic in reconciling. Mistakes? Back up and make them
as right as you can, then move on. Be off the charts in kindness. In
whatever you are called to, strive to be devoted to it in all aspects
large and small. Fall short? Try again. Mastery is made in increments,
not in leaps. Be brave, be fierce, be visionary. Mend the parts of the
world that are within your reach. To strive to live this way is the most
dramatic gift you can ever give to the world."

Clarissa Pinkola Estes
American Author, Poet and Psychologist

"Enjoy life, you children of God."

(As seen spray-painted on a sidewalk in San Francisco)
-------

Please consider this a wake-up call
It is time to play
It is time to create
We cannot worry or fight our way out of anything
But we can always create solutions
We can re-dream, re-imagine and re-build our world
From the ground up if we have to
But first my friend
We have to wake up.

These words, "Be outrageous in forgiving. Be dramatic in reconciling" is how I am trying to live my life. I am tired of being angry and bitter at the past and with those that have wronged me, because I, too, have done my share of hurting. I, too, know am in need of being forgiven.

Too many people carry anger and unforgiveness for things that now seem to petty, and so long ago. Sigh. If only your poems, your rich words could heal those that need healing.

Mucho BIG hugs...

I agree my dear friend...I refuse to live with any kind of bitterness...understanding I am not perfect either, and also need forgiveness for my own shortcomings and mistakes. All any of us can do is be more aware, learn from our mistakes, and move on and let go of any bitterness or anger. I know anger just begets MORE anger, and turns into a vicious cycle.

Thank you , as always, for your insightful comment my friend. HUGS....

You have not heard of Costco?....is a large store that sells things in bulk at great prices...You have to have a membership to shop there, but it is well worth it. My friend and I just split the cost, and go together. Ended up not going, (she had a crisis to take care of) so it is delayed till Friday. I do keep busy Riginal...so many people in my building who do not drive or have cars...so I often am shopping for others when I am out.

Barbara, Riginal: I am a "member" of Costco, and absolutely LOVE shopping there. Hubby and I especially love going on Saturday mornings when the fishmongers are there. Shopping at Costco is like going to Playland or Disneyland for me, so many lovely and delicious things or food to buy. God help my husband's wallet. Actually, he, too, has a hard time restraining himslef from saying "NO!" lol!
