This outstanding residential building has been named after the mythical island of the same name, which is considered to be located in the Atlantic.

Taipei 101 is one of the major buildings associated with the financial hub of the country. The area is known to experience a number of typhoons and earthquakes. This building was constructed at the cost of $1.8 billion and was designed by Architect C.Y.Lee and Partners.

It was completely renovated or rather a new stadium was opened at the same site in 2007 at the cost of $1.5 billion. This stadium plays home to the English national soccer team. Besides, it also holds a few top-level domestic matches as well. The Wembled Stadium is regarded as one of the best venues for holding soccer matches in Europe. This stadium is also known to be one of the costliest buildings in the world.

Burj Khalifa, the tallest man-made structure on this planet, is also one of the costliest architectures in the world. This 828 meters high structure was constructed at an expense of $1.5 billion. This building, which is expected to accommodate a few residential apartments and numerous offices, was designed by architect Adrian Smith.
