This Game Of Life

“The path to our destination is not always a straight one.
watch the video

Give me always the strength to walk my own path . Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, in which you can walk with love and reverence.

This world is too foreign to me

Often my heart is breaking

Not knowing how to see

Children hungry for

Love, food, kindness

NEEDING TO KNOW WHY...

I can't watch others cry and moan

Without it pulling at my heartstrings

I breathe their pain into me

Hoping to somehow

Lessen their affliction

I ASK AGAIN WHY...

Experience has never taught me

To walk away from those who

Need a comforting word, hug

Acknowledgment of their despondency

A simple gesture of compassion

WHY CAN OTHERS...

I have not met a human being

So meaningless to ignore

Their feelings and use them

For my own benefit

Casting them aside as I see fit

WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN...

I am never wonder struck

By insignificant possessions

Trappings of this materiel world

Choosing instead to bow

To an infinite higher power

WHY DO THINGS MATTER

I know not how to say "yes"

When I need to say "no"

My conscience guiding me

Directing my thoughts

To a higher self

WHY WOULD I

Yes, this world is impertinent

Inappropriate intrusion

Presuming an arrogance that

Shall never guide my walk in this world

Nor possess my essence

WHY, WHY, WHY...

Barb arrogance stands naked, exposed in the shadows of defeat. Deflections reflected residue from your honesty/inbred faith... blinded by your truth. Cowers, waitng for an 'easy prey.' But not pray tell today. You is good girl...that your humility be catching.Whispering thunder of thoughts sublime...hear me arrogance?...not your time! Cheers girl. You is good.
