Her latest collection has been very mathematically designed with just a touch of embroidery, the right play of cuts, drapes and fabric used.
After mesmerizing the fashion connoisseurs in Bangalore for almost two decades, Jyoti is now set to launch her label through a flagship store spread over 2000 sq.ft, located at Queens Park, Ballygunge, Kolkata. Heralding a new dawn in the world of fashion & couture, Jyoti promises to be the foremost trendsetter in defining fashion & style for the City of Joy. The soft hue of tradition intermingling perfectly with today’s passion for the best is evident when one watches life in Metro city.
Jyoti’s collection is the clear cut reflection of her culture and traditions. Through her collection she always aspires to ensemble a woman who knows her mind and does not hesitate to experiment a little. In her mathematical collection she uses natural fabrics like mulls, silk muslins, khadi and georgette. The collection inspired by the human form and the ability of the feminism silhouette to adorn various drapes and cuts never seize to amaze the designer. The uses of solid colors in this collection go hand in hand with the stylized cuts giving continuity to the vision that she has in mind. The designs that are showcased are minimalistic and yet creative and graceful in nature. The collection range starts from 4K onwards.

According to Jyoti Sachdev Iyer, “It has been a long and eventful journey in the fashion industry. My design philosophy has always been that less is more; heavily embellished garments are beyond my sensibilities. I believe more in styling and draping of ensembles. I love the way various fabrics and textures enhance human silhouettes. I believe in thinking slightly out of the box and not follow trends blindly.”

Jyoti Sachdev Iyer, a NIFT Delhi student, whirled into the fashion scene more than two decades ago. In 1998 while stepping towards the beginning of her career, Jyoti created Sayesh Enterprises in Delhi, and then moved forward to Bangalore. Moved to Kolkata a little over a year ago and she has been totally bowled over by the workmanship that exists in this city. Now Jyoti runs two studios one in Bangalore and the other in Kolkata.
Jyoti has developed a unique style of her own; reflecting the ancient traditions of Indian craftsmanship in a contemporary vocabulary. She believes artistic collaborations are of great interest to her specially when its break barriers culturally. She has been trying to revive Tribal Art of India by imbibing them in my garments in the form of handwork. She has combined Aboriginal art with Indian fashion in my previous collections.
She has done various stand alone shows in India as well as internationally. Jyoti Sachdev Iyer has worked with International design houses like La-Perla, Fendi, and Kenzo. Label “Jyoti Sachdev Iyer” is available at premium outlets in London, Milan, and Sydney. Her collections have been showcased at prestigious fashion shows across India, Europe, Australia & USA. She also specializes in trousseau wear. She did a trunk show in Barcelona in the year 2007 inspired by the famous architectural splendor La Sagrada Familia by Gaudi.
