I know even with not a soul around me... I am not alone.

Within us we have moments which paint the hues of our life...a masterpiece created with each breathe we take...Embrace the Divinity within you...you are created in perfection....

Living in this world

Which often feels foreign

Bereft of caring, compassion, soul

I question so much in my search

To know, to feel, to expand my heart

To transcend my soul to a higher purpose

Struggling against man made complacency

Lost at times within my own self...

Putting my hopeful fingers to this canvas

The blood flowing through my veins,

Merged with the vision of my soul

Painting my path, holding faith to my essence

Reaching beyond what lies on the surface

To an eclipse, dancing in the memories

Which originate somewhere

Beyond my humble being...

This canvas of life so vast

Having no beginning, nor ending

Never fear that you are not perfect enough

You are created in divinity

Sparing nothing to be

Your destiny calls to you

Embrace it without fear

You are never alone...

Look towards the light

In the garden you will find

Flowers and thorns

But it is still an oasis

Do you not know you are perfection

Created in the image of the divine

Nothing lacking or wanting

Hold this to your soul and know...

Shall we despair and curse life?

Or weave it with the threads of

Understanding, compassion and love ?

I ask you now...

I plead for your soul...

To transcend beyond safety

Reaching for the sanctity

Embedded within your heart...

This is my question...

I place it before you...

And await your reply...

Prayers go up and blessings come down…Barb I read sincerity in your poem... You have poured out your heart with intense reasons and while doing so patiently you trusted your prayer with great optimism that your prayer will be answered...

"This canvas of life so vast

Sparing nothing to be

Your destiny calls you..."

Especially these lines connects me as a reader so well with entire core essence of your poem...marvelous I must say...Once again you a wrote a beautiful poem...
