Love in its essence is spiritual fire.

Thank you Bob Nesta Marley for being an inspiration to me in so many of your wise thoughts and words...Set the captives free...

My heart aches

Seeing you lost in

Self judgement

Believing all the lies

Others have dumped

On your soul...

Entreating, appealing to you

Let them go

Emancipate yourself

From "mental slavery"

Travel within to

Find the essence of

All the beauty you possess...

Remember when you reached out

For no reason other than

You wanted to help

Remember when you shared

Someone trials and pains

Simply out of the goodness

Of your pure giving heart...

This is your immaculate soul

I plead with you now

Hold this close to you

Let it guide your steps

If you must be defined

Let it be thus empowered

By the grace of humanity ...

I promise you this

You will never regret

Embracing your true essence

It will carry you beyond

This cruel world of judgement

To a sacred life of blessings...

LET LOVE ALWAYS BE YOUR GUIDE...

Sacred thoughts..as I know you...You are always so eager to help...This is part of your soul and I know you cannot abandon your own soul...You are exactly as what you have defined in the poem Barb this is a beautiful poem...To rise above everything with love in heart and that's how your poem say so with honesty and very strong convictions...Yes, you are right one has to come out of self imposed exile to regain the loss touch...Only you can hold such

Thank you Uttam...my inspiration when writing this was thinking of so many people over the years that have been hurt by "messages" received as a child or even later in years from those who should be loving and supporting them... but instead they are trying to control them and impose their judgements and beliefs on them....I wonder if they realize how hurtful and insulting it is to be made to feel that they do not have enough wisdom to make their own choices.

Parents especially, are often like that...and yes I do understand that we want the best for our children, but we also must let them make their own choices in life... and if they make a mistake, learn from it... and we will always be there to support them. This does not mean that we do not also let them know our opinions and share what we have learnt ... but in the end they have to make their own decisions....if we do not let them, how then will they ever learn...

Thank you again Uttam...

It's a fine taut line life. We all balance on it with the side buffeting winds of not so good decisions and trying hard not to instill what we know causes one to fall into a myriad of bad habits from previous hard learned experience. Hopefully with a bit of encouragement to kin that follow everyone reaches the end of life's vibrating tightrope journey intact- with the least amount of soul bruising and a happy disposition of heart and the freedom to reflect favourably on what you've tried to pass on. However well it is received and hopefully embraced the 'good advice' will anchor a positive future. Here's cheers...hoping, Barb.
