Happiness can exist only in acceptance. George Orwell

Acceptance doesn't mean resignation; it means understanding that something is what it is and that there's got to be a way through it.

Straight from the heart

These words said

Somehow they

Appear to be dead

No longer holding

Meaning or worth

Who stole it

A drifting presence

You shall not possess

The unknown

A phantom illusion

Lost in the chaos

A ghost of untruth

No reality...

And so it goes

And so it was

Unwinding the creation

Facing the lose

Scattered beyond

All that was real...

Left on the pavement

Placed with a kiss

Abandoned dreams

Will not subsist

There must be more

To even the score...

It never was a game

Of who would win or lose

When it became that

It was time to choose

Anger and judgement

Shattered the truth...

That's understandable Barb. You're right there's a way round everything. That's why roundabouts are put in. A roundabout in Australia is a circle plonked in the middle of a road you drive around to get to your destination on another road. Thinking in a roundabout way i guess is similar relatively speaking otherwise we'd all end up just driving and thinking round in circles and with the high cost of petrol compared to the low cost of faith is why it's easier to walk and look on the bright side. Unless of course you are driving a thrifty Ford and you happen to run over a walker staring upwards trying to look on the bright side? Nice post Barb. Cheers and have a great weekend. Do people in your country have the time to walk? Or more importantly do people have the time to talk to other people? :>)

For all that we think we know in this life, there are mysteries we shall never uncover. And for everything we proudly learn, we only discover, how much closer to ignorance we have become. It would take more than a life time to learn all there is to know, and several life times to sift through the rubbish to understand it all.

A poem, worth it's weight in wisdom.

Love it. We will never know all the secrets life holds, and nor should we, I think somethings are best left to guess or to ponder over. If we knew it all, what would we debate? lol

As said above, that is wisdom right there Barbara, a wisdom born out of living. I know the longer I live the more things fit, the more things I heard my Dad say make sense to me now.

Made me think, brilliant Barabara x

Well expressed Shaun... that has to be the one advantage of getting older...we learn so much from all we have sad when people do not have the ability to grow and learn from their mistakes and stay in a pattern of what is not working towards their best life...

Thank you again my friend. :D
