Put Miss Hilton In, Take Miss Hilton Out, Put Miss Hilton In

by D. E. Carson (writer), , June 08, 2007

Unbelievable.

That is the only word that can be used to describe what has happened in Lynwood. Less than four days after “checking in” to the “iron-bar Hilton” in Lynwood, Paris Hilton is back home, albeit with a new piece of jewelry – a radio monitoring bracelet on her ankle.

But that’s not what Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer said. Judge Sauer specifically ordered Hilton, 26, to spend 45 days in the Los Angeles County Jail for violating probation by driving on a suspended license. Sauer was not at all happy about his order being violated with such apparent flagrancy.

Neither is city attorney Rocky Delgadillo. Delgadillo has filed a petition suggesting that Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca acted in contempt of court by reassigning Hilton to house arrest with electronic monitoring. In a prepared statement the city attorney’s office said that it believes it is up to the court, specifically, Judge Sauer, and not the Sheriff’s office to determine what should have happened to Hilton. Sauer has ordered Hilton to return to his courtroom promptly at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 8. It is believed that Hilton will be driven to her appearance by sheriff’s deputies.

Hilton was released around 2:00 a.m. Thursday, June 7. Outside her Hollywood Hills house, paparazzi swarmed to photograph the released Hilton. Helicopters normally flown over Los Angeles to report morning commute traffic were directed to fly over Hilton’s house to cover the breaking story. According to reports, Hilton requested that cupcakes be distributed among the media outside her home. Hilton released a statement thanking the sheriff’s department and the staff of the Lynwood facility and also saying that she learned her lesson from her brief incarceration and hopes “that others have learned from [her] mistakes.”

It appears that another lesson in the inner workings of the criminal justice system may be forthcoming – but directed at Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca.

In order to gain any actual information about this issue i suggest reading Bill Friday's article on the same subject. It actually has some information in it rather than just yet another inane rant from this terrible writer. Its nice to be able to compare and contrast though. It's a good exercise for everyone to see what makes a bad writer versus one that is quality.

I just found Chuckles' comment about my Paris article. How considerate of him to write it so that it hides when I peruse the comments.

El - I have only one account. I suggest u stop accusing people of your own behavior. Stick with using your computer for downloading porn and leave the writing to those who actually want to make a difference in the world rather than just keep fucking it in the ass till it dies. Reza- Are you a schizophrenic. I was trying to defend you. And then you go and compliment this moron on his writing. D.E.- Apparently you've never read your own comments.

Chuckles has been gunning for me ever since I first logged onto Broowaha. I dared to use facts to completely destroy a story he wrote about how 9/11 was an inside job referencing a video made by some whacked-out George Soros-type Frenchman as proof. Since then, the video has been completely disproven by more reputable sources than myself (Popular Mechanics magazine being one of them) but my use of common sense seemed to incense Chuckles so much that he apparently ecided to launch a personal vendetta against me. Sadly he doesn't have the guts to publish comments out in the open where they can be seen.

I don't lack guts Carson, El G likes to bury my comments with his multiple personae all voting them down. My first article self-deprecatingly titled "On being retarded" was viciously attacked by you first. And you attacked me for what others said and not my own words. You and El started attacking me first and I am only responding in kind. The facts you so easily declare in your massive rant about the video were rediculous and included among other inept observations an assertion that a bomb dog wouldn't act a particular way and thus you had proof that the plane that hit the pentagon was not a drone. In the article i remained fair and i said if you would like to know more about the 9/11 doubt go to the video. If you believed the official story whatever, but there is no conclusive proof either way, even now. And i never suggested there was,i just asked for an investigation. I truly find that you and El G are ruining the free exchange of ideas on this site anytime anyone writes an article you politically disagree with. Many progressive writers do not contribute anymore because of the abuse you both have dished out. If I was Ariel I would have kicked you both off this site and it would be a lot better for everyone. I guarantee it! We wouldn't be missing much.

Hey Chuckles...if there are so many people leaving BrooWaHa then how is it that it has expanded into five markets beyond Los Angeles? When I started here, there was only L.A. Plus, you don't seem to give Ariel a whole lot of credit. If my stories are as bad as you say, then shouldn't they have been disapproved BEFORE being published? I'm still waiting for you to give me an example of how I'm "abusive." Also, why is it that it's only the "free exchange of ideas" when the article is one with which YOU personally agree, yet it's "abusive" when it offers an opposing viewpoint or proof that you might actually be wrong? Sounds like the same double-standard that is used by the liberal media and left-wing sociopaths like George Soros. So if the shoe fits...

Its your comments D.E. that are the problem not the articles themselves and you i must say are not as bad as El. The problem I'm pointing out is a lack of returning contributers not new ones. Those writers that joined back in the day when you were so thourough cricizing my criticism of a cartoon show are long gone. And i speculate it is a result of the comments that were posted to their tentative first steps into publishing. I'm perfectly willing to declare a truce in the negative commenting war that has raged between us for nearly a year. If we all promise right here to stop posting degrading comments about the author than perhaps there will be peace and things will be cool. But i suspect El cannot be big enough to do this even if you seem to have done this to some extent.

I'm willing to bury the hatchet as they say, but I must point out that I have rarely posted comments to other writers and what few I have posted, except for the ones attached to your articles, have contained words of encouragement. Maybe a scant few others are responsible for running off some of the other writers, but I hardly think telling someone that I thought their article was good is in some way a scary thing. I would like to offer this possible explanation. Life happens and it can be difficult to actually sit down and write something like we have all done here on an almost daily basis. I know that for me after spending eight hours at my day job under the scrutinous eye of "der fuhrer" when I get home I am too tired to sit and post something. Many of my posts have been written during slow times at work and were posted when I got home because my employer has blocked BrooWaHa at the firewall. I suspect that life gets in the way of many of us here and since we do this out of passion instead of for a living, its priority sometimes falls down somewhere between taking out the trash and cleaning the dog mess out of the yard. So, now, yes, let's declare a truce and halt the petty bickering. Let's agree to disagree and be willing to make and take constructive criticism. Any takers?

If you and I can have peace Carson perhaps there is hope for the Arabs and the Jews or even the Sunni's and Shiites. Maybe Paris Hilton has done a little good for society even if she doesn't know it. After an eight-month war the Carson - Harmison accord occurred on an article about Hilton's incarceration never would have guessed that. Just so we agree we should feel free to critique the content of an article just as long as the comments do not get degrading toward the author of said article. This a

sorry wrong button continuing ... This applies to one another as well to other writers. When a person targets the content of an article with criticism then this attack should not include the authors themselves. If we can manage these terms i think things will be better. IF you think there should be anything else say so. PS: IF you can get El G to agree with this than i will forever change my opinion of you Carson as a diplomat and reasoned debater, even if I may still completely disagree with you much of the time.
