She made everything magic and more fun, and we made traditions of these things just her and me – like going to the rubber ducky race in Clinton every July. It’s been almost two years since she has been gone and this was my first year at the race without her. It was the “Blizzard of ‘96," just after my 13th birthday. That’s me on the left, with a neighborhood friend and my younger brother. We had off of school for a week; every day we went sledding, ate soup and played video games. It was the greatest week of my life.
