From Storms To Sunlight

“'Tis the set of the sail that decides the goal, and not the storm of life”

“May God give you...For every storm a rainbow, for every tear a smile, for every care a promise and a blessing in each trial ...

Storms

tempestuous raging

the lakes cresting with

exertion of life***

After the storm

the sun broke through

warming my soul

beckoning me with hope

the river banks serene

majestic harmony

Quiescent serenity***

Storms will come

Tears cascade

with endlessness

insinuated lament

seemingly eternal

whimpers of longing***

For the avidity

of the sun

the caress of purity

and innocence lost

turning our tears to mist***

Rising within to be

no more...to erase forever

with rebirth Of

faith and hope

rejuvenated strength

grace undeserved***

Dancing and sparkling

in our hearts...

breaking forth warmth

and peace***

Remember your storms

carry them always

let them turn your

soul with empathy

to envision and empower

you to waft beyond ***

Bringing sweet redemption

gifted with love

into the soul of

the tormented***

When you look

outside your limitations

surrender with joy

the sunshine

earthly limitations

BE THEIR SUN***

lovely as always Barb, poem reflections wonderful also. Cheers girl. Thought you Canadararians were adverse to the sun? Don't let the sun catch you crying? I guess at least it dries them out...i mean you can't drive a Focus and focus on driving with tears in your eyes now can you? Ford in Australia is closing in a couple of years as you would already know so buy up big on hubcaps girl!

Thanks Riginal. never going to have to worry about hubcaps or anything...my mechanic who I bought my car from will always fix me up if need be. He is wonderful...My AL...the sun is shining brightly here today my friend, and it feels amazing. Just getting back online as I was disconnected, had my son here putting in my new floor for me...have a nice evening. :-)

Barb if you can live where you are without a floor it proves once and for all you are indeed a suspended angel. If a guy in a hooded cloak from Costa Rica knocks on your door selling 'new' red flags for old beware girl. I know now your aversion to red flags is the chink in your armour! This "mechanic fixing me up spiel?" You worry me sometimes Barb. The sun is shining? I thought you guys couldn't afford the sun? Don't tell me God is giving you credit? cheers...

LOL...I had a floor, but it sucked...no matter how much I mopped it, it never looked clean enough to me...so my Mother's Day present from my son was to put a laminate floor down for me...I told him it was the best present I had ever gotten for Mother's day...:-) My sweet baby boy...

My mechanic, old school, can fix anything and will not bullshit you into paying more...hard to find being a woman. Been going to him around ten years now. Has a bit of a crush on me I think...but it's all good. He use to build race cars, so I know he knows what he is doing.

The Sun's free here in Canada, last time I checked...now hydro...forget it...we are even helping pay back their debt...is listed on every bill. And I have no clue how they can get away with that at all. But we are just little people, and the government does what they like too often.

NO RED FLAGS ALLOWED ON MY PAGE...LOL...TELL TONY PLEASE...

You have red flagged brow beaten me once again girl. Happy smothers day. Do you have mothers out there in that untamed snow? Do you have rhodes scholars to clear the roads? (rhodes scholars are intelligent Australians...then there's me!)
