Love lives within the eternity of the soul ....
watch the video

"Love is space and time measured by the heart." - Marcel Proust

Love creates in abundance

Also, having the power to rip apart

Within contained the breath of life

Sometimes leaving us gasping ...

Finding within this love

All we ever wanted, needed . sought

Our hearts so vulnerable

Rational is left wanting...

Love heals our afflictions

Wounds us beyond any measure

Enveloping of treasures

Beyond reasoning...

Never is it truly gone

Even death can not consume it

Doors do not block it out

Transparent unending truth...

Loves builds strength and power

Opening us to see beyond the worldly

An instilled vision of heaven

Waiting to be embraced...

Years do not depreciate it's honor

Within every thought...hope

In the blink of an eye...memories

Inside this unending...healing.

Love is eternal...

truth strikes deep, especially when it slips in on the wings of poetry

Remarkable thy creation Oh! Barb... With amazing intensity and sincerity you write…The forlorn desires and the perpetual hope in this poem connects the reader so well to the in-depth understanding of love and that’s how the eternity of love you could weave so beautifully in this poem…Keep it up Barb…

Problem with 'deep striking' truth is the many different 'stricken' religious shallow connotations some 'winged' religious worriers flutter round on mo9. Reading Barb's poetry promotes more peace than any War of words one could ever hope to placate and it does slip easily into ones being as you allude to. "Give me a home where Barb's poetry roams...where the dear and the un bluff n blow don't groan ...amen.

Riginal, I totally agree with you when it comes to man made religion...too many people have been hurt by their doctrines at times. Scott Peck (The Road less Traveled) use to say that this is what kept him in business...I totally dedicate my life to a higher power, but this does not live in any particular church I attend...it simply lives inside my heart and how I treat others...We all need to respect each other's choices and beliefs...live and let live...Thank you Riginal...
