Even in the darkest times we have a haven in faith.

No matter what obstacles come to us, we have the strength to make them into a positive.

How many times do we feel all alone in this world? I know I am not the only one to have felt a common human state . We may of felt disappointed by someone we loved and trusted, rightfully or wrongfully. It really does not matter, the feelings are there whether rational or irrational. Perhaps we put all our work and resources , energy into making a dream come true. Only to have it blow up and die before our very eyes. Does this mean we then give up? No, I never will give in to hopelessness...I may stumble, but I also know I will rise again when I am ready. This is the commonality we have as sensitive beings with emotions and the ability to do more than just exist ...We have within us so much more and I believe we all want to know we are accepted as we are and loved for this, or in spite of this.

Please remember, if you are ever feeling this way, to reaffirm what it means to be created and protected by someone larger than yourself. You are a child of God. Knowing and believing this, gives me the strength I need to face any obstacle that life can throw at me.

Go into the silence of your soul. Quiet yourself...look within...listen to hear what is told to you. Yes, there are voices that do speak to us. You may call this whatever you are comfortable with. I personally, know it is a higher power that directs my actions and choices, when I actually let go of my ego and surrender.

Smile, touch your own arm and say to yourself ..."I did not bring myself into this world, I am here for a purpose , I am never alone."

As I glance outside my window I see the snow
White and beautiful and fresh...
I ask where is the sun now?
When will it return?
Shall I cry for this?
Never, I know the sun will
Bless mine eyes again with brilliance
My sorrows will melt away
Just as the snow does
I will embrace the sun and open my heart
To grow larger and stronger
Bringing me closer to God.

The haven of love and peace always resides inside my soul. There is nothing which will ever have the power to destroy this grace.

May you all be blessed now and always.

Nothing, but absolutely NOTHING "will ever have the power to destroy this grace..." AMEN!

Barbara, I am working on learning to quiet my soul, to be still, to listen, and to trust in HIM! This is a very beautiful post, Amiga. Thank you for always finding the right words to send our way as encouragement. May God bless, always! :)

so true. When our minds get in the way, our family calls it Mental Kung Fu. The image of words sparring together makes us laugh and dispels the nonsense in our heads
