My Home

A heart makes a good home for the friend.
watch the video

Never make your home in a place. Make your home a reflection of your heart and soul...

The home I live in

Resides inside my soul

It is not visible to the eyes

To know it, feel it

Open your own heart to see within...

This home does not

Worship diamonds or pearls

There is no longing

For things and paraphernalia

It lives in simplicity...

The walls are painted in empathy

The floors are blessed with understanding

The kitchen feeds the soul's knowledge

Put down your burdens

Rest in the sublime freedom of love...

Sharing my home

I laugh, I cry, I sing, I dance

Quietly lost in mediation

Embracing the best

Truth of my existence...

My home is created

With humanity

Bestowed grace undeserved

The core of my heart

Placed lovingly within...

Welcome to my home...

*one of my favorite singers and songs RIP Luthur Vandross...

OH, Barbara, that in your homes "lives simplicity" is just beautiful. No paraphernalia is necessary. Once again you've done it, Amiga, you have captured the heart and all the senses. :)

Have missed you but glad that you are here today. Hugs!

Thank you Virginia...you too talk to my heart when you share all you write my beautiful friend. I just have been very busy and not had as much time to be here...sorry. I always come by as soon as I have time. Yesterday I had my computer crash, but between my friend and i we managed to get fixed with a system repair and system restore. Have a nice evening dear lady. xoxo

Ugh! I am so glad my husband is the one to take care of our computer problems. I would be completely blind about that.

You, too, have a great weekend, Amiga! ~XOXOX

Thank you Melanie, I agree, we have many things in common...have you read the book Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort and Joy. They also have a workbook for this...but I am sure you can create ypour own and make in unique to your own goals...

I am sure you will like it Melanie...is a day-by-day guide to bringing simplicity into your life. There are certain books I have that I will never part with, this is one of them. :-)
