“There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.” Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

I am a dreamer of dreams and always will be...Yes, life can send them crashing into oblivion. My unfailing will finds the key to resurrect them; bringing them safely to a place of hope.

What is the difference between those who dream and those who do not? ...Is it a matter of perspective ? Or has God blessed the dreamer with infinite grace...

Those who dream are not lost to this world, but rather build a bridge to the next world. A place of believing, a place of surrender, a place which is a haven to any unknown burdens. This world is what is and what may be...it breathes in possibilities refusing to allow what is not to become what is.

What becomes of those who do not dream? Do they silently die in the moment ? Do they extinguish all hope which burns in their heart? Do they snuff the flame of goodness from their soul? Do they lose all that they have been given in grace? Who has the right to take this from them? Why do they let them I ask....

Are we all not born with wings to soar? Endless promises which are in our hands to create. Yes, our feet are on the ground but we must reach for the stars and never surrender to defeat. There have been times I have had to hang my wings on the mantle and pull my thoughts away from the stars. I will rest and pick them up again when my strength is reborn.

We all must toil on this earth , what is barren will be made fertile. The earth is our Mother, our birthright. Yes, the winter storms will come, but the spring too will blossom in our souls again.

I toil unceasing in my thoughts and prayers. Our treasures, our dreams must be nourished to flow again within the soul of our existence. I pray for strength, grace, understanding ...again taking flight in my dreams to this benediction filled possibility.

I will always be a dreamer of dreams...

Happy New Year All !!! And I said to the one who stood at the gate of the year, 'Give me a light that I may tread safely into the Unknown.' And he replied, 'Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God. That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way.'" Minnie Haskins Teacher and Poet
