4Ever Mason, I'll Always Love You!

Credit: Me
Mason my beloved pet.

"If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans." (James Herriot)

Twinkle twinkle little stars,

how I saw them in your eyes.

Eyes so bright entwined with mine

Speaking words of love each day with mine.

Mason, where are you my little guy?

I wonder hope and pray you're running in meadows and pastures chasing butterflies.

Up above the world so high it was you my diamond, the diamond in my eyes.

Twinkle twinkle my Masons eyes were so bright

Speaking and sharing incredible unconditional unspeakable divine love.

Mason, how I wonder where you are?

Can you still feel my heart since your lifeless body was removed from mine?

My pain runs deeper then the blazing sun because you're gone

my little guy my ray of sunshine.

Nothing again will ever shine as bright as your eyes not even sunshine.

I will now only find comfort at night up high and above

awaiting to see your eyes in the brightest stars each night.

And when your eyes reflect and show your little light on mine,

Sprinkle it on me all through the night...........

You will see me winking at you and blowing a kiss of love up to the sky.

I will always think of you at night.

No matter how dark of blue or black the night will fall.

I will forever love you.

Mason my Mason why did you leave me so soon? Weren't you my gift from up above?

It's unfair I declare we were as perfect as Vin Ordinaire!

Another question I guess I'll be adding to that known place we meet at the end of time.

Mason oh Mason where are you my little ray of sunshine? :(

Whew! Angie the affinity and connection we forge with our furry family members is such a strong bond. Your sweet Mason knows what is in your heart and he wouldn't want you to feel such anguish. Your heartfelt words made me cry for your loss and I will send prayers, thoughts and blessings your way immediately. Again, we are so sorry about this!

Love,

Theresa & Joe

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here he goes there to be with Winston and Bobby

My heart truly goes out to you, Angie! I have lost dogs and I understand. Your poem is such a beautiful and loving tribute to Mason, it made me cry. What a sweet face I see in that picture of him! He will live forever in your heart and in your memories.

Angie, I am the owner of an 8 year-old rescue dog by the name of Sassy. She is part Maltese and part West Highland Terrier and I cannot imagine us being without her ever. Yet I know in reality her time will come. You have my heartfelt sympathy on this awful loss.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and warm thoughts.

This happened so unexpected and I am overwhelmed with sadness. They say time heals a broken heart but right now I'm having a hard time believing that is so. : (

@Neil6 - I didn't forget about you just need a few days.

Thanks for understanding.
