Tomorrow Is Gone

“The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, not to anticipate the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly.”

Tomorrow Is Gone

Tomorrow is gone

Lost in a sea of forgotten

No longer holding

Truth or meaning...

Ending with no chance

Of even beginning

Buried in so many false

Promises and illusions

Apparitions of lost dreams...

Moving past and beyond

Not looking front nor back

Eyes closed to anything that

Tries to draw my attention

My heart emptied of caring...

I walk on past this phantasm

Holding on to only proven reality

Devoid of perplexity or scripted

Words which bring only confusion

Nothing is real nor matters...

Many unanswered agendas

If I don't know it no longer

Touches my soul or heart

Releasing with a sigh

Arriving at sacred peace...

Barb, another classic piece of writing...Yes, very true when you are at peace with your body and mind, then surely one gets the courage of convictions to act clearly...Liberation from fear itself gives an enormous strength to live with hope.

Thank you Uttam, living in the present does seem to bring us more far as fear goes... as human beings we will always have fears at times, how we choose to address them is what matters...thanks again :-)
