Anybody will agree that today there is an alarming drought for honesty, sense of proportion, good behavour, morals and discipline among the majority human beings around the world. No financial Aid and packages of United Nations or World Bank would give relief to get out of this ‘peculiar drought’. This perucliar drought in human nature is prevalent in all nations around the world, because the people and leaders both are suffering from this peculiar drought. No where there is coincidence between the words spoken and deeds done by the people in general and by those who are in power, in particular.
This is all because, there is no good system and no good leaders are existing to drive the world forward and to establish an all pervading global peace, protected environment, welfare and well being of human beings. We heard and read in Folklore stories that in some monarchies and feudalistic societies the self-centered leaders used to cause a lot of troubles to common people if anyone questions their unethical and anti-good behaviour. We thought that Democratic systems will give us good leadership as people get opportunity to themselves.
Considerable period we have tested the Democratic systems. Eventhough the systems is not out and out bad, but the groups that are seizing the power ‘universal adult franchise’, taking advantages of loopholes in the system and behaving no less than those cruel monarchs and like Czar rulers. A few people of ethical values, non-violent nature, honesty who are spread over in different parts of the world are undergoing mental and physical torture in the hands of bad governments, bad rulers, cruel politicians and corrupt bureaucrates and self-centered business people. These few people, who mainly think quite differently from the majority powerful people of the existing systems, are every day undergoing agony of isolation, with their inability to join hands with the corrupt, cruel and dishonest people in the society. Honesty and idealistic thinking is becoming a curse for them.
No political systems, no governments and no organizations can sooth the minds of honest people who are dissociated themselves psychologically from the mainstream corrupt systems. Even more embarrassing situation is that the Judicial Systems which have to protect the people and their rights have also turned dishonest badly. JUDICIAL POLITICS have become even more alarming than the REGULAR POLITICS. Doing one crime and to get out of it, doing another crime, has become order of the day in many countries for offenders of all classes.
This not the problem of one nation, almost everywhere in the world people are suffering the similar problems from the corrupt demagogues and their loyal groups. Can anyone say that they are very happy with their rulers? Even the people in authority would not say that they are happy with the behavour of people. That means where is the wrong, in our system or in our minds? Eventhough majority of us suffering, in every quarter of life still we claim that we are happy thinking from the positive perspective. Right in front of us some injustice is happending we do not react thinking it is risky, but preach idealistic words in writings. That means self-deception.
Eventhough world nations claim that they have enactments based on Rule of Law, Rule by People’s majority consent and legitimacy for their systems, still why those nations are undergoing crisis situations? Though we have shrinked the distances between the nations to hours of travel with technology and learnt for inter-dependence, why these conflicts within the nations and between the nations? What is the root-cause for this crisis - few of us or all of us?
I can say, as we have concentrated in producing more and more upgraded weapons one after another, we have not concentrated on upgradation of our current systems and thoughts, but sticked on to the traditional theory of Democracy, that appears faded out to the present day’s dramatically changing needs and deeds of people around the world. Those who are well off and quite comfortable with their life do not think about the suffering of the majority, as they have contended life styles achieved either by hook or crook.
Now, the time has come to change our exisiting systems of Democrcy, Rule of Law that are based on traditional theories. And we have to find out the systems that reduced the pain of the people to minimum levels and maximize the pleasure for the people without subjecting them to crisis situations of any sort. The technology that would be consistent with the promotion of global peace and security and healthy environment must only be promoted renouncing the rest.
We need some other more matured system, where people do not hate each other on racial, class or community basis, where people can travel freely from one country to another country with out any kind of barriers, with Global Marriages, Global living - may be it is One World or New World for which we need a Brave and Honest Leader to establish that New World Order.
