"It's the night that makes the dawning. It's the depths that make the heights. It's the roots that make the branches. It's the darkness that gives birth to Light."

In The Shadows

Deep within the shadow
A song could be heard
Imperceptible , a murmur of hope
In the shadows a whisper
Of contemplation and joyful voices
Persisted living in the silence...

A gentle glimmer of light
Shining through the darkness
Illuminated grace merging
Giving birth to forgiveness
Gently laying down
Affliction and tribulation...

In the shadows murky figures
Appeared stiff at first
Opening to extend
Their hand and heart
Reaching beyond the narrow
Confines of confusion
Welcoming with a smile...

In the shadows
My tears fell like benediction
Dripping to the floor
Washing my heart clean
Releasing all that is fallacious
To begin again with aspiration...
