We have to really search the scripture to understand Him, and what He has for us.

Our helper, understanding

I was doing my Bible study one day and came across several things I wanted to share about the different kinds of Christians. As I was studying I also came across the parable of the sower. We can compare which kind of Christian belongs to each seed or seeds. As we go by day by day living our lives as Christians we know that the Holy Spirit came to lead us into truth John 16:13. I always pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit. There are so many teachings out there so we have to really know and understand what God says in his word. It's not about what we feel. It's about trusting and accepting. So, now I pray for understanding. I always thought that when the Holy Spirit was given to us as our helper that we are all empowered by him as we live. The Holy Spirit is the source of Christ like qualities in our life. See: Galatians 5:22 through 23. As I continue to study, I figured out through Scripture that not all Christians experienced the Holy Spirit's power. Here is a list, I also found different names for this list also. There are three different names for this list there are three here and a fourth as some see it which explains the hypocrite.

1. The natural person 2. Spiritual person 3. The carnal person I was reading Jesus' parables this morning and now I'm going to compare them with the natural person, a spiritual person, and the carnal person. Here is another list that someone gets to also describe these different Christians. The dead Christian would most likely be the natural person. In the Scripture it says" I know your works. You have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead." Revelation 3:1. The seed on rocky soil could be the natural person which would be the dead Christian. They are in name only. So the natural person probably hasn't truly come to Christ for forgiveness. Jesus did address the dead Christian in Revelation 3:2-3 when he told them"I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God. Remember then what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent." What is the work of God he found to be in complete? To find out see: John's 6:29; first John 5:11-13. The carnal person would be the bound Christian: "You, my brother, were called to be free, but do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature... Serve one another in love"-Galatians 5:13a. So the bound Christian which is the carnal person is a Christian who is alive in Christ, but is bound by sin, and this hinders his relationship with the Lord. Romans 6:16 warns that "when you present your self to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness.

Also see: Galatians 5:17. And Galatians 5:22 through 24. Then we have the loner Christian: this is one that wasn't spoken of in one of my studies. See: Hebrews chapter 10: verse 22 through 25. The loner Christian is alive in Christ and enjoys fellowship with God. His life is full of blessing but the loner Christian is keeping his blessings to itself. See: Matthew five: verse 16. Now we have the complete Christian. The complete Christian would be the spiritual person. See: Ephesians 2:10. We call the Christian complete because he is alive in Christ, has a strong relationship with God and is a blessing to everyone around him. See: Matthew 516. This person could be the seed grown into good soil. We need to go back to chapter 2 in Genesis, God breathed his own life which would be the good seed into the body he had made. We had a good seed planted in our earth, our body. Assuring us that we will reproduce from that seed everything that God is, not only in spirit, but also in soul and in body. The different types of professed Christians true Christians is told by Jesus. Both of the sower in Matthew 13, Mark 4, and Luke 8. So the natural person would be the seed by the wayside these people reject the word because they believed the lies, such as, "the Bible is a collection of fables, legends." The stony places where the seeds were planted these people who profess to accept Christ, will quickly fall away because of tribulation or persecution.

The second category is probably the next largest. This seed among the thorns are people who profess to accept Christ, but who, as a result of becoming entangled in worldly cares and comforts, never produce any fruit. That would be the soil among thorns. So I will end this now and hope that it inspired you and you will share it with others or you will tell me your opinion. Just remember we follow the Holy Spirit and we"crucified the flesh with its passions and desires" of the flesh that are against the Holy Spirit. We will stumble in our walk, but when we do, "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." See: first John 1:9. We must be good hearers of the Word. Like Jesus said, you who have ears let him hear.
