The author has over forty years experience in Information Technology. While earning a BS in Business and a MS in Telecommunications Management his career path offered him public speaking engagements to crowds as large as 10,000 people. An avid reader he has turned his interest toward writing, while enjoying activities which include inventing and the great outdoors. His proudest accomplishments include earning a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do, and possessing a seventy-mile fastball during Little League pitching which ultimately led him to win the high school softball distance record for several years.
What inspired you to write your first book?
A dream.
What books have influenced your life the most?
I like fiction/thriller novels. John Sanford, Koontz.
What are your current projects?
I am writing a sequel to my first novel and I have applied for an invention patent.
If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?
No, it was given to me in a dream. I just wrote it down.
What has been the toughest criticism given to you as an author?
I am too graphic and gory. I have a deviant personality.
What has been the best compliment?
Four good reviews for my first novel including Kirkus.
Do you have any advice to give to aspiring writers?
There is a lot of competition out there. If your work is good it will eventually rise to the top, but don't hold your breath or depend on it for a paycheck.
What is your favorite quality about yourself?
I have a good work ethic and give every project my best effort.
What is your least favorite quality about yourself?
My temper and blood pressure.
