NFL Expereince Driven by GMC

New Orleans - The weather Gods looked downed favorably upon New Orleans just in time for the Vince Lombardi Trophy Ceremony. The rain cleared out and the sun made a stellar appearance in the afternoon. A large contingent of Media greeted the FedEx truck as the driver arrived by police escort with the Vince Lombardi Trophy to the New Orleans Ernest N.Morial Convention Center, outside Hall B.

Super Bowl XLIV champion and former (once a Saint-always a Saint-WHO DAT!) New Orleans Saints running back Deuce McCallister carefully took control of the Vince... Read More

Super Bowl Media Day in New Orleans

New Orleans - The most anticipated and or dreaded event (depending on who you talk to) has come and gone. I'm speaking about the Super Bowl Media Day Fueled by Gatorade. Five thousand journalists (legitimate and otherwise) from all over the world were given the chance to interview members of both the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens before a live audience, prior to Super Bowl 47, at the Mercedes Benz Super Dome. Some of the questions had nothing to do with the matter at hand, while other questions were well thought out. The coaches and... Read More

The New York Jets were already struggling badly on offense. Take away a 48-point barage in week one and this has to be the most pathetic offense in all of the NFL.

Quarterback Mark Sanchez has been turnover-prone and erratic, while failing to complete at least 50% of his passes in three straight games. The running game has been plodding and lethargic behind the sheepish Shonn Greene, and the wide receiver have dropped passes or ran the wrong routes on many occasions.

The offensive line has been suspect, too, while the team has watched Dustin Keller struggle to stay healthy. And... Read More

The Jake Locker era in Tennessee is on hiatus. According to John Glennon via Twitter, the second-year Tennessee Titans quarterback will miss at least one week due to a separated shoulder he suffered in a week four loss to the Houston Texans.

Locker exited the game after a punishing hit drove his shoulder into the ground, and was then replaced by veteran quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. Locker went just 0-2 in the game before being forced out.

Locker had previously beaten Hasselbeck for the starting job before the season started, and had entered week four with a 1-2 record as the team's... Read More

Chuck Pagano, Coach of the Indianapolis Colts has been hospitalized on October 1. Only a few hours after being hospitalized, Pagano was told he had leukemia. "His wife Tina had been at his bedside each night. She was the one who pushed him to see the doctor after noticing unusual bruising on his body," Pagano's physician said. Leukemia is a cancer that starts in the stem cells of the bone marrow that make blood cells. Bone marrow is the soft, spongy material that fills the centre of most bones (where blood cells are made). Blood stem cells (immature blood cells) develop into either myeloid... Read More

The NFL's Hall of Fame weekend usually signals the true countdown until the kickoff of the season.

This year's much-anticipated Hall of Fame weekend saw the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio induct six new members of it's prestigious Hall of Fame on Saturday night, leading up to the usually fun-to-watch Hall of Fame game Sunday.

However, despite the, also much-anticipated, Hall of Fame game between the post-bounty scandal New Orleans Saints and the Arizona Cardinals, the NFL suffered a tragic loss as news spread about the sudden discovery of the death of Garrett Reid,... Read More

It looks like the NFL has a battle going on in the AFC west, and it wont be over till the final week of the season. It’s been a tight race to the top of the division and it seems that neither of the teams are giving ground. A division that’s been somewhat predictable these past several years; suddenly has started to take on a new shape. The former AFL West franchises have been dominated primarily by the San Diego Chargers, who back in 1964 won the AFL Championship after a land slide victory over the then Boston Patriots. A team that once spent one season in Los Angeles was put in AFC WEST division... Read More
