As I read these words coming from the beautiful innocent minds of the young it struck me that they have so much more wisdom than some of our so called leaders and adults. At what point in time do we lose our tolerance and give in to the prejudice that can exist in this material world? I have fought against these beliefs all my life, and I will continue to try to change this ignorant thinking one person at a time. I know this may not make a huge difference in the overall picture; but if each of us were to make this our mantra MAYBE, JUST MAYBE our children or our grandchildren will... Read More

I am not just reciting theology when I remind you that there is neither time nor distance when we live and move and breath in the Spirit. When someone dies or moves far away, I don't have to say good-bye just whisper hello, a different kind of hello that moves with the speed of light to brighten each heart when I think of them.

God is the great "I AM" who exists in yesterday, today and tomorrow. His Spirit mysteriously unites all of us, intimately present to each soul, all at the same time. Our whispered hello to God and each other is called prayer.

One night, while struggling to centre... Read More

A young woman, Leah Marie, posted a piece on Blogher based on The Book of Mormon Girl by Joanna Brooks. This post is beautifully written by an intelligent, spiritual young woman, blessed with common sense and the ability to journey through the murky waters of the inner journey with clarity and vision. Leah felt completely alone in her struggle until she read Brooks' book.

I have even better news for her. It is not just Mormons who face conflict with traditional church culture. Many traditionalists believe that church culture is the same as basic tenets of the faith. Challenging custom... Read More

Recently a long lost cousin in the UK emailed to say his Mother, my Mum's younger sister and Godmother to me, had passed away. She had lived with him for many years and so naturally there was a huge void in his life. I searched for something I wrote years ago to share with him and it helped him to find the way forward - to find life after Mum. here's the article I sent him and hopefully, it can help you too if you've lost a loved one and wrestling with the loss.

One day, destiny will switch lanes, drive right on over to your house and park outside your life. Death arrives on your doorstep,... Read More

The recent death of actor, Michael Clarke Duncan at such an early age made me stop, and remember all the memorable roles he played during his short time on the silver screen. For instance, I loved him as accused murderer, John Coffey in The Green Mile. He was a huge, extremely powerful-looking man upon first glance. Then, as the storyline unfolded, you couldn’t help but see him in a completely different light—loving, caring, a gentle giant, a person I found wishing I had as a buddy, friend, or next door neighbor. He was actually an angel living inside an extremely intimidating figure, a tough... Read More

In working with my clients I have seen so much pain and sorrow and I can not tell you how often I have cursed and asked this question. Why is it that such awful things happen to people? This in particular troubles me when it involves a child. Why is it that an innocent child is made to suffer?

Do we just live in a cruel world where there is no rhyme or reason? Is man innately good or evil? And why is it that some people have to suffer so much and others skate through life with a permanent smile on their faces ?

I know these are a hell of a lot of questions and I am unlikely... Read More

Do you ever get out of bed in the morning, your pain in the back hasn't gone yet asit isstill bothering you the problems from the past? Most people don't even think about our bodies' pains as signs from our subconscious mind.

It could be a problem manifesting into another problem. A larger problem well, I will show you that this pain in some way or form is actually your build up of toxicans that our subconscious mind throws on our body when we are not working through our normal mind's cycle.

For many people the sign, could be crying to fix a problem however the dam could open... Read More
